Regarding telling Sloane about her people selling out her own people for drug money: as is your way, you were literally staring at the Krogan a few parts ago that you're supposed to give that info to while you were saying, "I can't find who I'm supposed to give this info to." If you want to go back, you're supposed to tell the Krogan guard at the wind farm that people have been selling his patrol schedule out.

Tried ME1 again after Andromeda. The Mako now feels like a bouncy toy car with glue on its wheels. Only traction in no-6wheel drive mode feels too weak in the nomad.

Have you considered upping the difficulty, Jon? You seem to have everything under control a significant amount of the time with common enemies dying very quickly with your powers easily dealing with other, harder enemies. You could totally handle Hardcore.

This is the only playthrough of Andromeda I'm watching. I really hope the Charlatan turns out to be an Elcor or something. We haven't seen enough of the weird alien races from the original trilogy.

I remember in my play through I immediately befriended Reyes (didn't romance him, I was set on Vetra). That bastard is smooth af, is really fun to drink with and hang out with, and is generally a cool guy (he's obviously not the ultimate space bro- that title goes to Garrus and always will). My Ryder was logical and professional most of the time but was casual with friends so her and Reyes got along well. I think in my next play through I'm going to romance Reyes and see where it leads.

@5:03 I thought this was going to become some deep plot about how Reyes either planned the murder or planted evidence on an existing crime scene to frame the Roekaar as a vigilante effort to remove organizations who are barriers to a peaceful life on the planet. It's not that I dislike Reyes, but all the pieces were there (Reyes tells you where to find the murder and seeds the idea of who he thinks did it) and this would have made for a much more memorable story. But no, it's just a watered down buddy cop-drama. Also, the game _really_ wants Ryder to have sex with Reyes. Pretty much every dialogue has an option to romance him.

I wonder how the planet's ecosystem reacts to the Pathfinder suddenly changing, for example, the acidity of the water. I mean, if the plants and other stuff had learned to cope with the acidity, wouldn't they die if the acidity dropped suddenly?

Jon, really you don't need "my other gun". That Kett rifle isn't that great. You can focus on just pistols and have a great variety of weapons. Build a heavy high damage pistol, like a Carnifex or the Angaran Ushior, and outfit it as a sniper weapon with a scope and whatnot, Have an SMG for automatic fire, like the N7 Hurricane. And the Talon for close up work, it's a shotgun afterall. You can even research and build the Scorpion pistol for miscellaneous purposes (Salarian STG sticky grenade pistol).

You definitely made the wrong choice relating the drug. If you trusted the woman you would have learned more about the other guy..... She was being honest with you. He wasn't. There was a reason the game wanted you to go along with the honest person and not the liar.

Reyes always came across as really Marty Stu-ish to me. By the time I was done with his questline, I was pretty much completely sick of him.

I don't like Reyes Vidal, he appears to go far out of his way to befriend both Ryder and the Initiative. Spoilers lurk below Not to mention Reyes Vidal can't actually die the confrontation between him and Sloane Kelly, who can straight up die during this mission (despite being the protagonist of the first ME book set in Andromeda).

I also wonder if Jon found the cells at the Collective Base, where there are several prisoners being tortured and a datapad with orders from the charlatan telling the people in the base to be on their best behavior for the Pathfinder (the Salarian's joke about 1 in 3 chance of a prisoner dying if you keep pressing that button next to him is in somewhat bad taste when you find this out).
