Another great idea. I thought when you said you were going to stamp your brown paper that you were going to do it before you folded it, then you folded it. I thought oh you must be going to stamp once you get your shape. But nope you glued it. Then later you said you should have stamped it before and I laughed. When using clear stamps, my stampin up demonstrator taught us to use thin foam under the project we want to stamp. It makes like a cushion and the image comes out so clear. Craft foam is what we use.

Also, fyi, the flowers here in the USA that you are calling pansy - you are not incorrect, but generally pansies flowers are maybe 4” in diameter. The little flowers that look just like pansies but are 1-2” in diameter I have always known as violas or violets.

When my stamps don’t stick, I wipe the stamp with a little bit of hand sanitiser, (I just use my finger). It cleans any dirt or residue off the stamp and it should then stick to your block.
