This is a really nice idea that I haven’t seen before. After my Mom died & I was going through her things, I found lots of stationery & envelopes. I don’t think she ever through a lone envelope out. There were lots of them in all different styles, sizes & colors & I wasn’t sure what to do with them! There were also lots of random amounts of leftover stationery & wow, Tina, this is the perfect way to use up these things that I didn’t want to throw away, but also couldn’t think of any way of using them. Now every time I make one of these I will be remembering my Mom & passing a little bit of her on to other people!! Thank you sooooo much, what a wonderful but simple way of using up bits of pieces of old stationery!

The movie Downton Abbey hit the theatres two weeks ago and I haven't been able to see it yet. This is one of my favorite shows so I am looking forward to seeing it. My whole family is horror film crazy but they are lost on me. A good thriller or mystery is my thing. A good movie never looses its magic. You name some good ones. My sister is a horror writer and it drives her nuts that I don't like horrors.
@shabbydabbydoodah5 жыл бұрын
Downton Abbey is still showing here, but I still haven’t seen it. I do enjoy horrors, but they do very often end up ridiculous, whereas thrillers are really scary aren’t they? Yes, love a good mystery too. How exciting that your sister is a horror writer, what a shame it’s not a genre that you enjoy as that would be really cool for you both x

Hi Tina, I love these! I managed to get 12 made, but I struggled. I am still recovering from my near death illness so I am a week behind and I am struggling to focus and my coordination is off. Glad to be crafting again and I look forward to a speedy recovery. Btw, just before I got sick I did purchase a $20 paper pad, used a 40% off coupon on one item, them also a 20% coupon off the entire purchase. The exclusions on using the extra coupon were for clearance items and door buster items. So I ended up with 60% off the papers pad. (Spent $8). The stores accept competitors coupons, so even if they don’t accept 2 of their own, they will accept the competitors coupon with one of therir’s but I have not had any trouble with them accepting 2 of their own.

I'm newer to your channel so between everyone's "new offerings" I have a look about in your older videos. I'm a HUGE fan of Horror and Thrillers. My kids grew up watching with me too! he-he But agree with you 100% Horror has taken on an unbelievable something about them. Rob zombies movies are very violent but remind me of the original Texas chainsaw and the hills have eyes And I quite enjoyed his stuff but now I've been seeking out thrillers for more believable scares. ANYWAYS... Thank you for your videos I'm really enjoying

I love the idea of having a variety of things ready when I need them. I would like to see more decorating ideas. I don’t think that it is usually necessary to show assembling all 10 or however many you are making if the only difference is the size. Perhaps once you have demonstrated making 3 or 4 you could spend the rest of the time embellishing. I realize you want to be sure everyone is comfortable with the process, but it is just a thought.

In re: punch board. I live in the US and they are cheap; costs around $13 on Amazon -- but the danger is and it should come with a warning: they are so "bloody" much fun -- I got mine on Amazon and we have prime so free 2-day shipping, and when it arrived our house turned into scrap paper mountain -- plus we r memory keepers has the new everything tool, which is kind of expensive -- 50 American dollars, but if you go to Michaels and use their 50 % coupon, it's reasonable and it has the envelope punch -- that tool is at the top of my what I want for Christmas list -- assuming I can hold out that long -- lastly, my large score board has instructions on the back of how to use it to make envelopes -- oops -- lastly No. 2 -- showing how you made the template and also using regular envelopes from stores is great !! Love your channel -- and still am loving the tick tock digi kit -- that was the very first digi kit I ever purchased -- best purchase ever !! Be well, Patricia

I agree with you, thrillers and far more scary than horror movies. Horror movies with monsters and things like that aren’t realistic so they’re not as scary as those scary things that real people do it’s much more frightening, like stalkers and crazy people. Have you seen I think it’s called Phone Booth and also Pacific Heights.

Oh I’ve never heard of Phone Booth, I will have to look for that one. Yes, I loved Pacific Heights, Michael Keaton wad soooooo good in it x

Lové these envelopes and I have a huge stash 😂 can I ask where you get your doilies from?
@quirkycat24895 жыл бұрын
Pam Rugman I was going to ask the same thing. Not long ago doilies could be bought any where in England, now they are really scarce, maybe shabbydabbydoodah bought them all !

Jacqueline Farrar 😂 i live in France i can get tenu little ones for cups but not very lacy. The only ones I found were really expensive
@quirkycat24895 жыл бұрын
Pam Rugman I am going to look for a doily die. The doilies I have found are more large plate size, going to look on eBay if no luck going to choose a die. Good luck in your search, maybe they will come back into the shops as it nears Christmas party time.

Jacqueline Farrar I have tried dies, ok on thicker paper but don’t really work on the thin, tend to tear and are a really pain to get out of die. Will keep looking, a friend has just sent me some 3-4” ones I will ask where she got them and see if they do a bigger size. Will let you know
@quirkycat24895 жыл бұрын
Pam Rugman Thank you, that would be very much appreciated. I understand what you mean about the dies, hadn't thought about that, and I should as it happens with intricate dies. oh well, back to the drawing board. I will let you know if I track any down.
