Gayle, I’ve had a marvelous time making pockets and so many other journal goodies, thanks to watching you. My 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter loved going through the journal, I have been working on for my daughter for Christmas, so, little Petra is getting a journal with some pockets and foldouts for her to put stickers I have made for her onto pages. Plus, she can “color and scribble” throughout it. She just loves doing “art stuff “ with gramma! Thanks, Gayle.

Gayle, I am saying extra prayers for your family! I hope that all are safe from the fires. I pray that everyone affected gets evacuated safely. I know that you worry about fires in your area, so hopefully y'all have had enough moisture to get through this season. I had never experienced that fear until the 2016 fires in the Smoky mountains. The fear is real. I love watching your videos, but usually watch on tv, so don't often comment. Thank you for sharing your time and talents. I want to work up the courage to make a video... maybe that will be my goal for the new year! Hugs!

Can't wait do do this fun pocket project, it will be perfect for a journal I have on the go at the moment. Just one small problem! We've been renovating our house for the past 3 years and finally we've just started work on what will be my very small craft room, so all my crafting stuff and journals have been packed away till the room is finished. I'm still watching the video though and making a note of this project and a number of your other videos, so when I'm finally able to do more work on my journals I'll already have videos to rewatch. Thanks again for another great idea Gayle.

I played today with an 8x8 pad using this idea. It’s so cute because the ephemera in the pad works in the pockets or tuck places. I did a smaller measurement and left the front flap a little smaller. I’ll use a pretty decorated paper clip or tiny punch with a dangle in it. So darn cute. I love this video! 😻

I just want to say a huge thank you from Rachel and myself. You have been so kind and considerate to other KZbinrs and Etsy shops. We are both so grateful dear heart. We both want to wish you a happy and prosperous new year, good heatlth especially. You take care travelling home to us all. I'm so looking forward to what you have planned for next year. I bought the Art Card stock from Stamperia that you are using and I love it. I'm going to make a mixed media journal for myself to paint in. This was a wonderful share. I am an ex-scrapbooker who still has a huge stash of 12x12 paper, so it is a perfect project for me. I can't wait to see the journals that you create for the pockets you made today. Have an absolutely amazing time with your family, relax, enjoy every second just being in the moment, and collect a storehouse of stories to share when you get back. As for me, I plan to follow your example and reorganize my work space while letting go of what I haven't used in ages. My word for the new year just might be "simplify".

Thank you Gayle for the wonderful videos that challenge our minds and inspire joy from the love of creating. We made it through another year because of people like you. By encouraging and helping others, sharing ideas and demonstrating techniques we are growing, both in our pursuit of journal making and of becoming better individuals. Each time we see you pick up your glue stick or rummage through that little kindness pouch or that other one, labelled "ink and think" you are reminding us to be kinder, more considerate and thoughtful of others. You are very much loved Gayle for all of those things, and more, and especially for your compensity for joy. You have been a friend to many with your chats and while you create we imagine ourselves sitting beside you in companionable happiness making beautiful things. We all look forward to sharing this passion for journaling in whatever form it takes in 2022. We will be with you Gayle on the journey. Happy New Year my friend.
