I love these pockets, quick and easy! I enjoyed the video of you and your daughter opening the journal from Amber. Kids are so adorable and what a delight to hear her voice reading and talking about the journal. Brings back such fond memories of when my cnildren were that age.

Dearest Tina I am proud of you, you are evolving, how I hear you ask, you are getting confident with yourself and not apologising for everything. Well done, it is so refreshing to see you go through a video without worrying about what may go wrong, does go wrong and what others have thought you did wrong. You are owning your channel and shining. Well done girl.

Thank you for sharing. I love these pockets and have made a few. My life hasn’t changed much since lockdown. I was shielding and we haven’t really trusted places that are open but we have been out for coffee sitting outside and round a craft gallery which was empty other than me and hubby and dog! But it’s so frustrating and a bit depressing not to go out so your channel has been a godsend.

Thank you Sara. I don’t blame you for not having been in anywhere other than the craft gallery and a coffee sitting outside since you finished shielding, everywhere seems so busy now. I have made similar pockets using book pages in the past but I have never seen it done the way you did yours. I also love simple! Anytime I do not have to cut is a time for me to do that particular craft LOL! I love the way you decorated pocket turned out, including the blue flowers in various sizes! Could you hear me saying yes! Yes! Please, use the blue brads! The blue brads pick up the blue in the butterfly near the top. The stapled, torn lace; the number; and the word wonderful just tie everything together so well. I am also saying yes to the Stickles on the pheasant ♥️

Tina just a bit of interesting news. Yesterday our sun when it was 7:30 pm was so blocked by smoke from the fires out west that you could look directly at it with the naked eye and it looked like the moon. The smoke has traveled 2500 miles to cause this affect. There are many states out west that have horrible fires right now. Just thought of you when I got an answer regarding the sun.

I love these pockets, Tina. I can report my craft room is almost finished, or as close as you can ever get a craft room organized. lol A friend called and when I told him what I was doing, he offered to come over and move that chest for me! So that will make it all much better. We are going into Fall here. The geese are beginning to fly south and it seems a bit earlier so our snow could be a little early too. The temps are so perfect now. Just thought I’d let you know what our weather is like in Wisconsin, USA. 🦋💕🌹

I am afraid to make these pockets because I have been making the square pockets and now have a pile of those!!!!! You asked awhile back what was our least favorite part of making a journal. For me, it is choosing the papers! I do not like matchy matchy, but for the life of me I can't seem to get the colors coordinated well. I am not color blind, but it is difficult for me! I end up using a lot of maps and music sheets!
@shabbydabbydoodah4 жыл бұрын
Lol, you sound like me, having piles of things everywhere! I am working really hard to not be so matchy matchy, so I imagine your work is wonderful. Joie De Fi uses a lot of map pages and sheet music, maybe check out some of her videos for inspiration of other papers to include? X

Tina there have been whole town burned everybody’s lost their houses all the businesses are gone some other reason wild areas but there’s just as much within the cities so it’s horrible and now we’ve got these horrible hurricanes coming up through the Gulf of Mexico and it’s flooding three or four of our states and there’s more storms to come and people are losing their homes are being flooded because when the storm hits there’s a storm surge that comes in that’s takes water from the golf of Mexico obviously but also rain
