Coming back to this again after all these years, this was kinda the last time AH hurrah wasn’t it. I don’t think they had another series quite as good as this again afterwards (though please throw in any I might’ve forgotten that came after this) but this was a solid, whole crew experience. If only we knew they were the good old days when we were living them.

Eh. COVID was the nail in the coffin tbh. Trying to transition to fully remote completely fucked with them. From quality control to being unable to talk because they kept talking over each other awkwardly.

AH was dead the moment Geoff organised that pathetic weepy self-indulgent call about how racist he and AH supposedly were, during the BLM hysteria in summer 2020. That killed off any humour in the company at all, because you knew the decisions and interactions were all underpinned by stupid left-wing white guilt. The Ryan revelations later in the year were the cherry on the shit-cake.
