Army of the Nile is one of my favorite marches - especially when played by a massed band. Thanks for posting.

Definitely supremo band, music a joy to listen, visually a feast for the eyes. That drumline is absolutely out of this world, have not heard a drumline this great in a band.

Well said! The bilateral relationship has been dysfunctional for far too long. Right now, In 2020, we could move forward in peace and economic partnership; statesmen & stateswomen are now called for and we’ll do the rest!

@@danielw5850 Then I will extend the hand of friendship in keeping with the objective of your desire, Daniel! If you're a Brit, then I am your cousin, albeit I consider myself a displaced British citizen of 60 years in the US. You Brits have a monopoly on pomp and ceremony.
@danielw58503 жыл бұрын
@@sirvincent7263 Kind words, although I'm not sure on the monopoly. I think it's a fortunate case that nations that are not interfered with (invaded & occupied), over a long period, tend to retain a strong sense of "self". As I write, I'm tripped-up by exceptions like Norway and Burma, so I'll quit whilst I'm ahead!

@@danielw5850 I pray for the UK daily, Daniel, with thanksgiving to the Lord Almighty that our nations are committed and faithful allies. I just watched the 2018 Remembrance Festival at Royal Albert Hall with tears, fighting the storm of emotion that generally subdues me during such services. The honor, reverence, dignity and gratitude is unlike anything we have here, which I admit to our shame. How much our generation has forgotten of the sacrifices so that we could live in freedom. I'm especially grateful for all those smashing lads in the UK, without whom the liberation of Europe would have been impossible. I hope to attend Mountbatten Festival 2021 as I wish to present a special memorial I am preparing to honor the 11 HMRM bandsmen who perished in the bombing of the Deal Depot back in 1989. I hope that they will accept my small token of honor and allow me to display it at Royal Albert Hall during the three days of festivity.
