Time to button up this project. Fix a few leaks, spray some paint, have fun doing it!

You have definitely given the old girl a new lease on life. I reckon she would enjoy going to the odd show. Some people can get to carried away doing something up but like you say she still has to put in a day's work. Definitely will be looking good in the field.

Excellent job, bud! I've got to pull the deck plate in front of the seat on my 1100 to fix a hydro leak on mine this spring. I hope mine is as easy to fix as yours. When I painted mine, I ordered extra MF triangle decals for the cab. Once that paint fully cures over the next few months, it will really set in and shine. Again, Great job! Waitin for the next project, bud.

I found an abandoned MF 285 in my town and I’m trying to get a hold of the guy who owns the property so I can ask him if he wants to sell it and what not. She’s been sittin for quite a few years but it’ll make a nice summer project.

Do you have any plans to add lights? LEDs are pretty cheap and work great!!! It could use it imo. wondering if the company said. we need 6 or 4 ft headroom in the cab! LOL GREAT job on paint! Looks new.

yes, I’ll be adding some LED lights on front and back. the originals were all junk, the went immediately in the garbage lol. I’m 5’8 and I can stand up in the cab with lots of headroom lol

I got those off eBay, but I can’t remember exactly which vendor. Good luck with your venture, it’s not the worst job.. those tractors are easy to work on for the most part 😉

should be a valve or ring on drivers platform between your feet hydraulic dump valve to ease starting in cold weather, do not depress brakes when starting the are hydraulic actuated and will kick you very hard
