Looks like fun! I got a Dearborn 2 bottom plow as well. 2-16's. Pull it with my '61 Oliver 550. The fun just lasts a little long with a two bottom man!

Do you have a video showing how to use the plow draft controls on the right side of the mf150

I do not. And unfortunately I don't understand the proper use of the draft controls well enough to explain it.

My problem is the bars will not hold their position and will fall. So if I used a plow, it would sink further and further.

Draft is simple the further down you adjust the lever the heavier the draft allowed (deeper it goes.) So drop it down as plow drops on pull it up till plow raises a little and then adjust up or down till depth is set. It should be adjusted so it starts to drop plow 2.5” from top but most are much further down. It works by pushing the draft spring as you raise lever the less push on top link is required to raise and lower.

I readjusted the linkage after I got back to the barn. She will turn 2400 rpm now. Thanks !!!

Those Dearborn plows are classic. Great job. We found your channel from a comment you left on another page. We'd really appreciate if you'd give our channel a look if you aren't already following us and have a minute.

Why is everyone without their colters? Seriously plows are twice as hard to pull and do rougher job.

We have 3 moldboard plows. Only one has coulters. If I had coulters for the other 2 plows I would use them. The plow in this video was bought new by my grandfather in 1953. Dad said that my uncle took the coulters off in the late 1950's and has no idea what my uncle did with them.
