Your M6060 videos were what steered me to Kubota. Ended up with a M7060 and our farming has expanded greatly in size because of how versatile and reliable it’s been. It just flat out works day in and day out from tillage to planting to haying and feeding cattle all winter. Looking forward to seeing how your new machine works for you, thank you for all the great content.

Ben, Massey Ferguson is a great tractor but when you get treated like you did by the sales man I don’t blame you for shying away. I f that’s how the dealership operates when they have an opportunity for a sale I can’t imagine how they would be for you if you needed service support. I’m glad you decided not to go with that dealership, nothing against the tractor brand. I still think you went with a John Deere I just don’t have a guess as to what model. You just can't help but smile the whole time you're operating it. I think actually as a fact that Yanmar diesels are rated overall the best diesels made. And the older ones just sound wicked. Will run forever and a day nonstop. I hope you find the tractor you're looking for. Kubota makes a superb tractor. So does Massey. Have you looked at Branson tractors? Also a superb tractor.

Dealer support is the big thing for me. We have 3 kubota dealers within reasonable traveling distance and 2 are small family owned dealerships which is getting harder to find. I had a chance to run a new massey a few years ago with some people l was haying with. What l remember most about it was the rattling clattering engine, light built loader and odd placed controls. I've been partial to Oliver, White and the 40 series deere's in the past. Bought my first M series kubota in 2016 and two others since. I don't see myself changing brands anytime soon.

The Massey would have made you a good tractor but I don't blame you one bit for shying away due to poor dealer support. That salesman clearly wasn't hungry enough to worry about a sale and my attitude when spending my money is that I'm not going to beg people to take my money. My local Massey dealer has a great crew at the parts counter and they really deliver excellent customer service. Same thing with my Sany dealer. I have to drive over an hour but from sales to service they are spot on. The sales and service managers both gave me their cell phone numbers in case I have an after hours situation that might require prompt attention. I have a 2019 4707. It’s nice in ways but is underpowered. Won’t hardly run a 5x5 baler efficiently and us guiltless in road gears. The 931x isn’t near as strong as the hydraulics. I don’t know anything about your area. You stated that you felt like the 4707 didn’t have very good support from dealers or manufacturer. I own a 2010 Massey and I live in a fair size metro area and several Massey dealers. However, here’s what I can tell the AGCO dealership I dealt with has given me good service. However, the parts for my tractor are very expensive. And I don’t feel like the tractor it self is producing the horse power it’s rated at. I’m pretty sure that if a can fine a good deal on another tractor with cab and loader I’ll be trading. One thing that bothers me is all the newer tractors being manufactured over seas. If at all possible I won’t be purchasing another tractor manufactured over seas and that cuts down my search field very narrow. I can say without any doubt that the only over seas machine that I’ve purchased that I really am satisfied with is my Kubota rotary rake. We have extremely good Kubota dealership in our area and Kubota has a very impressive parts systems in our country. I need a part for the rake due to some self inflicted damage and I had the parts the next morning and parts clerk told what time it would be there and it was there. I talked to this parts clerk for information about Kubotas parts system and he gave me a very good explanation. Basically if I was wanting to build this rake they had every part for that rake in this country and he showed me on his computer system how many of each part was in each wear house across the country and pretty much 24 hour delivery of parts. To me that’s extremely impressive and my next tractor purchase my be a Kubota if not it will be a very top contender.

With assembly in Georgia a Kubota may be the closest thing to "not being manufactured overseas". They seem to be well supported here in NW IA, and the skid loaders are taking over a HUGE percentage of market share. I have an SSV65 and am happy with it after 2 years.
