I grew up running mostly John Deere equipment in Arkansas. We raised a lot of cotton, beans, and wheat. Never operated any MF equipment, how does it stand up? We had some Case Intl, which were long on creature comfort, but just didn't have the pull of JD. Especially couldn't compare when it came to hydraulics. JD is expensive, but worth it.

I grew up driving Massey Ferguson tractors and today I own a Massey Ferguson and a John Deere both are excellent tractors of course you have the up keep. I would like to have a John Deere 5525 or 5625 . And a Massey Ferguson 3660 or 3670. I have a Massey Ferguson 3070 and John Deere 5320 and a IMT 539.

Why only 5 furrows on big machines like that? We pull a 6 furrow Kvernland (which is seriously heavy) with a 6490 over here and the land is much heavier clay type land that what your turning over by the looks of it! Is it the hills?
@djhago3123 Жыл бұрын
I think they are overum which is a good bit heavier than kvernland

Is that keeper hill?
@Sjanzo12 жыл бұрын
it looks to me like at least 50m height difference between both headlands... Its no comparison to the conditions where i live: in Holland with height differences less than 50cm and light sand soil...

If there is road-kill in Holland it would nearly class as a hill
