For the love of god, Phly... Turn off the "auto level when in bomb-aim mode" option That way you can roleplay as a Stuka in a PE8 and your bomber won't suddenly say YEET and decide it wants to visit low earth orbit. (like in this video when you are on approach and start aiming, the plane suddenly pitches up) Edit: wait, you guys don't know about this? I thought it was kind of a known thing around the community and Phly just forgot about it. I'm very happy to help tho! :)

@@LaserTractor hell, just by gravity it'll be moving at 130 m/s (468km/h) when dropped to the ground from 850 metres up. Imagine if it were filled with dead weight instead of explosives, it would be like being hit by a (admittedly slow) 820mm 3000kg solid AP shell.

Phly, you should do a video on the P-40 Warhawk. I feel like it's just overlooked on a person's way to higher tier planes, but I've used it to massacre planes 3+ br ahead of me in seconds.

You can try on a cross-controlled maneuver by applying the rudder and ailerons in opposite directions to perform a side-slip which is commonly used on actual gliders since some of them do not have flaps at all. This allows your plane to gain induced drag like the flaps do, without extending any parts on the control surfaces and breaking the plane apart during high speed landing or landing without flaps. I usually alter the directions frequently to prevent banking too much, so that it won't go into a spiral dive and gain airspeed which we don't want for a landing. It works for me every time, on any plane. You can search for "flight 143" or "Gimli Glider" for a real life example.

Gaijin need to add droppable anti tank mines as a secondary, it was a common thing to drop mines on the airfield or drop mines from the back of a tank to deny an area of operation to the enemy.
