I just learned the most amazing trick from a friend who is a cheesemonger. I was having problems with some of my cheese getting moldy quickly and he taught me to get paper towel and put a very light amount of vinegar on it, then wrap the cheese tightly and put it in an airtight Ziploc. I’ve had cheese last months. Don’t waste your money on those specialty cheese bags. They don’t work this does. And it does not flavor the cheese in any way. It just protects it from mold.

Ooh I need to try that! I can’t go to TJ’S very often because of the distance and I often skip getting cheese because it molds before I can use it all.

Yes. The paper towel also works with the veggies.

@@natashaslist Follow up: last night we unwrapped four large wedges of kasseri cheese that I purchased in May, it was in perfect shape to make Mousaka. That was the ultimate test! eight months in the cheese drawer wrapped as suggested. It tasted and looked perfect.

Agreed but 1.99 or more for that. Eat oranges and you will be set! Plus one cannot absorb 1000% of RDA for vit C at once. What a farce, albeit tasty@@natashaslist

I haven’t been to TJs in over a year😕I moved to Florida and it’s an hour away from me! But I’m thinking I may go next week for some nice holiday treats! I want to try that chocolate and that popcorn! All very dry wines will have little to no sugar. Most French wines have very low alcohol. I am picky about the low alcohol. Tastes better to me. Love Gruner, love low alcohol, I'll check out that wine. If I want high alcohol, give me gin or whiskey. ha! I used to do dry farm also, wonderful wines.

Those chocolate chip cookies are addicting! You are the one that introduced me to them. I used to pass them by in th store. Thank you for getting me hooked to those delightful things. I can't visit without buying them. I still haven't tried the juice shots, but I look forward to buying them. The Bulgolgi also would taste good with the Japchae. In Korean restaraunts, I have been served Japchae with beef/bulgolgi with thin strips of fried egg.

I eat a lot of salt also. Sodium is a needed mineral. Don't blame the salt for what the sugar did. Salt Fix is a great book about this.

The (NEW?) dried Green Mango 🥭 is (kinda sugary) pretty good. I must’ve had a bad batch of the Organic Ataufo cause wasn’t good. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Their GF products are all labeled by law. They also have a comprehensive list of all GF products on their website. Not sure which items you are referring to that aren’t labeled GF?

After recent experiences at my local TJ's, I think I'm going to stop shopping there. I do like your reviews, but the staff, prices and just "things" have changed. No longer a fan, but I'll watch the reviews. It's sad. I've shopped there since I was a kid in Oregon.
