Thanks for the amazing explanation. One query... In the case of alpha or momentum, how many months of past data they consider? To be considered in the top 30 list, they must have already delivered the returns for say 3 months or 6 months. So the ETF formula will select the top 30 based on the alpha they have generated in the last 3 months. So the ETF formula has missed the rally stocks have given to reach within the top 30. Are you getting my point? I mean I don't know how I can put my question properly.

The present situation is that most stocks in MO S&P BSE Enhanced value index fund are over valued. As a result this fund is not performing at all. Indexes by default are momentum in nature. Don't get fascinated by these factor indexes and their fascinating returns, just choose a simple broad market index like N100, M150,LM250,N500 and incase if you still want some better returns than N50 then choose NN50 along with it.
