True but the block was his fault. I like him and want him for our future kicker but if you watch the defender didn't get penetration and didn't jump incredibly high, Ryland just kicked at to low an angle.

@@jonathanayala2420 Not his first game, he played for the Patriots and got cut for missing. Don't get me wrong, I like Ryland and hope we keep him but I think to many people are anointing him before he has completely proven himself.

Ik he played w the pats as I mentioned before reading this. On the field he’s proven himself for us cardinals fans im sure he’s proven a lot more in practice itself. He’s proven himself trust me. Makes game winners check. Makes 50 yarders check. That 57 yarder would’ve been good from 60+

Chad Ryland will get picked up if we bump him to the practice squad. I worry about Matt Prater long term. Obviously he's a top kicker now, but Chad was sailing 50+ yarders with ease. Idk, just thinking beyond this season.

If you have an aged kicker coming off an injury, and you don't know how he'll hold up, even though that kicker (Prater) has proven himself, given the dynamics, I personally would keep the younger kicker (Ryland) who has also proven himself; who also isn't hurt. Why change? The only thing I can think of to why the Cards take Prater is for his accuracy in making very long field goals (50+ yarders). It's a tough decision I'm glad I don't have to make.

Its not prater was bad before, he’s one of the best kickers in the last 20 years. If he’s healthy and kicking well in practice. You give him the job

The Prater Ryland issue is a tough one. Prater is proven from 60 yards, Ryland isn't. I want Ryland for the future but I want Prater to finish the year. If we put Ryland on the PS we lose him but he almost missed that 57 yard FG and Prater makes those all day long.
