It depends on age. Most who have been into electronica have and may not have remembered. It's good that they (Massive Attack) scatter themselves and appear a bit incognito from the world a bit then appear in a House intro. They still keep going so I really care less about what others think about what I like. Not keeping a clock on who thinks what is cool. Waste of time. New people who enjoy are good for having good taste.

@P4NDOR407 Dubstep is basically a kick a snare and a chill bassline. It's inspired from grime, dub and others. a song doesn't need a filthy growl or ugly noise to be called dubstep.

Aww... I like both Uk and US artists.. and both cross over with brostep, dubstep, drum n bass and include different elements of different subgenres in one track. the earlier stuff had the same vibe all the way through, but shouldn't the mixing and integration of all the different subgenres mean less arguments these days? One can have a bit of everything instead of being on one cam[ or the other..
