With auto turrets one the top of your cage, the behemots would have molted into nothingness quite quickly. shotgun turrets on the top of the corridor itself, looking down to headshot the lot of them would work too. You don't loose the poles protecting the barbed wire and you gain massive damage. Do a day 7000 horde with that !

Finds a mod with the behemoth. Uses the opprotunity to blast it in the face with a rocket launcher. I approve of this. ;) Also the behemoth range is around 3-4 blocks, so it's likely that's what killed you. And I already added purple dye to the mod cos the wife wanted it.

I believe their clipping hitbox may be smaller than their actual hitbox, so that you can shoot them in the head or hands, but they can still fit through a regular-size door.

Spawn one like a screamer every so often that knows where you are. Walks super slow. So you can easily run away. But you can't just hide in your base all day.

@@wehtam211 At least that way we need to be ready to fight. Makes a loud scary noise lettingbyou know it spawns. If eere hiding underground then it start digging but super fast. At least let the game warns ya either ya underground or up high ya can hear it approaching ya. Or put a message on ya screen in red saying The behamoth has spawn and is comming for you!

It's also partially how the animation state machine with modded entities works vs the actual code. Sometimes it doesn't play the attack animation, but a few of us modders are working on trying to fix that. :)

I did try it. However a screamer horde consisting of 5 screamers accompanied by 5 giant bikers (equivalent to the behemoths in this video) decided to smash my 1st wall. I had to kite normal zombies through my exterior hallway and then focus down the giants from the hallway they were too big to fit in. I was praying for Boom, Headshot the entire time.

Darkness Falls is an amazing mod and the modder is a great guy! Damn, 2k damaged per hit? thats why there are titanium blocks in this mod haha. I think the AI is not exactly the same as vanilla tho.

It was never added to vanilla. The code is in entityclasses.xml and you can enable it to spawn them, but the behemoth has no hitbox so you can't kill it.
