Our Grandmother was a “Totter” she would only go to the “Posh” area of Southsea to collect items that the residents would put aside for her. Off she would go with the faithful family pram and return loaded up! We would get books the pawn broker would get the hood items, clothes would go to the rag store, those that did not fit us, metal to the scrap merchants. This is how we survived, one of the many money makers. Ten children and an absent father..we too worked from a young age in groups. Always respectful towards others. 👍👍👍

Loved the video. Great stuff to sell love when you find old furniture that piece was beautiful. I remember someone I knew had one that had that kind of mirror. I'm old enough to be your mom went to college for years infact I have more credits than Dr's but getting gold as you put it is so much fun .... My problem is I had to stop because after putting soo much love into old furniture I wanted to keep everything. People are cheap too !! They say, you got it for free even though you put weeks into restoring and money for the paint ,ect... but I miss it soo much ..
