Its very dry in many parts of Florida too and we had a wildfire not far from my neighborhood the other day in my town not far west from downtown Orlando. Other places in our area have been having fires that have threatened homes, schools, etc. We are having high temps nearing 100 BEFORE the heat index. Hopefully our regular daily afternoon rains also begin to reduce our fire risk. We have high winds too that help feed the fires. I feel for you all out in California and those in the other places that are having such fires.

God gave us the free will to decide whether we choose to reach out for his help, or if we become jaded and let the negativity of the world turn us against him. Faith isn’t a ‘get out of jail free card’. It’s called faith for a reason. You don’t always get what you want. But you do get what you need, so that in the end, even if you die, even if you loose everything, you’ll be ok still as long as you’re willing to reach out for his guidance and let him help you. Rising carbon dioxide levels make plants grow faster and bigger. Rain helps, too. More plants make bigger fires. Call it growing pains. With the minerals distributed by the fire plants will grow even better afterwards. I don't care whose 'fault' it was. Fires are great for the environment.

Yup. Cal govt will not allow farmers or ranchers to conserve, capture, retain any rainwater. Over 90% goes back in the ocean. Their lands are dry and nothing they can do to save their properties or help others because there is no water to use. Very sad situation for all Californians due to govt policy and not climate change

And then all summer fires and smoke and ash falling from the sky and bad air quality alerts daily. Yeah, but it's been burning for over an hour so that logic doesn't work. Grass fires usually burn like this. The fire line causes an updraft. The incoming wind prevents the fire from advancing irregularly, cooling the land ahead of the fire line while also feeding oxygen-rich air to the advancing fire line. This is natural. It does this no matter what starts it.

It hasn’t rained in months, that’s how plants dry up and become more susceptible to fire. Are you really incapable of understanding something this simple? There were thousands of acres on fire in Texas in February that they couldn’t control, while California was getting record rain. Now there are storms in Texas and they can’t keep the power on while people are dying there. There are also fires in Florida because it has been dry. Obviously there weren’t fires in California while everything was wet. Now that it’s going to be dry for a while there will be more fires because the foliage is more likely to burn and spread. That is how nature has worked for all eternity. And longer periods less or no rainfall will exacerbate that - that’s what a drought is. Try to think critically for once in your life.

The entire corridor is closed up to hwy 5. The location had already been given earlier in the video. Plus there aren't many exits nearby. Corral hollow exit is pretty much it. On one end there is hwy 132 exit, other end is Patterson pass exit, both closed due to fire. Its literally at the foot of the hills, as stated in the video, next to Tracy Hills.

Buy a DEW. If you need a fire, or 1.000s of them in canada, they´re very useful. DEW are also avaiable as "mountain DEW `Flamin Hot´ and `Maui Burst´ ". It´s so helpful, especially if there´s a snowstorm on Hawaii island. (the fires are burning hotter, if you spray some aluminium from big planes before use).
