Hi, I love ambushes, and for sure if they succeed ! You did a good job by commenting this sally out. For sure the attackers expected , there would comme a sally out because they all had cav and spear units . Did it help the attackers ? you have to watch the vid... Nice change up to have a quicker battle like this. I prefer the hour long slugfests, but these are cool as a change of pace. I think I'm beginning to feel like I prefer 3v3 battles over 4v4, also. Not by much, but it's obviously easier to keep track of how each player is doing. And generally 4v4 gets bogged down at the breach points too much, whereas 3v3 has more progression into the city centre and capture point. Obviously this battle was nothing like that so a weird time to raise the topic lol but just wondered what you feel? Is there any merit to that view?

I would agree with your thought of the 3v3 battles. But I am honestly a fan of 2v2-4v4. All battles have their good points!!

archers are the core of siege battles but when a whole cav army sally out, the same archers become a burden..who are needed to be covered from all sides and to be defended well and also have to attack the settlement at the same time.

Interesting fractions, kush can get a lot of kills since most of the attackers have armor, but also Sparta is pretty good and also epic sally out

which is the best faction to counter the roxolani cav advantages...or it would be better to bring a full army of spears pikes and archers...to beat them.

With it being a full cav faction it would take a lot of spears/pikes to handle it. Maybe Pergamon would be a good choice??

Not to be mean but what was the point of all those hex women ? One or two in the back would have been better. Round shield swordsmen are better and cheaper fighters and double the unit size.
