Dave, I just found myself a couple high scoring dumpsters. A multi building apartment complex is under construction. I drive to the area each Friday to 'walk my dog'. Those dumpsters have paid off a few times this summer. I've grabbed construction materials and scrap, but the bigger score is the boxes of kitchen and bath accessories pitched in the dumpster still in boxes! There were sets of towel rods and hooks, faucets, and expensive chrome cabinet rollouts. In the spring we went to the college dorm dumpsters and found all kinds of goodies and I recently discovered there are private college apartments that have yearly leases. These buildings have scheduled moving dates each weekend in August, so they keep large dumpsters (that fill up quickly with good stuff)in place all month. It's been a fun summer.

I’m just glad you’re out there saving metals and such that can be reused or recycled. We are not as “green” as we think we are. Too many good materials heading for the landfill. And if a guy can score a bag of Milano cookies… BONUS 😅 Thank you and blessings to you and your family.

That CVS has a compactor. You would think that stuff would end up in there. Unless it was some employee's stash.

They don’t use it though. It must be broken. All their trash goes in the dumpster across the parking lot.

Brother I’ll buy that box of bigger stuff from Eaton off of you. All the larger pieces you got are for medium voltage distribution. They all likely tested bad and can’t be used. I test equipment like that for my job, and want some just for decoration.

I’ve found those insulators before when they upgraded the power lines in my town, big chunks of copper and brass in the thing you pull out @ 23:38. They must use the same parts all around the world as I’m in New Zealand!

Funny how different people who scrap can scrap different items. I see other scrapper pick up items with Freon in them and say they can scrap them. Here in WI we have to pay to take anything with Freon to the dump. We also don’t have many places that take e-waste so we have to pay to dump most electronics.

Enjoying the videos new subscriber keep it up🎉 I like how you have a good grasp of the way everything works. I watch a lot of these dumb dumpster divers and they repeat over and over what is shame they're throwing the stuff in the trash can Shame Shame Shame. No it's not it's a perfect system you get free stuff. They don't have to charge the public more for the stuff by processing in some way instead of just throwing it in the trash can. That's the honest truth because I know managers of retail and wholesale stores. They got to pay two people to process it for 8 hours of the day instead of doing the regular job they're going to take that out on the final cost of product to the customers no one wants to pay more that's why it's a perfect system. I don't know about you but everything is absolutely outrageous I assume that's why you're doing what you're doing. Could you imagine them bumping it up to accommodate for two people's pay every day 8 hours a day or more😢 I can barely afford meat on a daily basis as it is. Let alone having them pay for someone to figure out what to do with it next so it doesn't go to waste. Seems like a good idea in theory like communism but in reality it's not. And people like that keep opening their mouth enough and you won't be able to do what you're doing. Would you like it if there was no meat no food no anything in the trash can for you to get there be no videos to be done and all the metal had to be accounted for and recycled. Food For Thought huh?

I really appreciate what you do, but i would suggest that you should be less specific about the store name. You can just say pharmacy or grocery or hardware we can figure it out. You are going to get unwanted response from these stores if they catch wind that you are embarrassing them on video. I hope I am wrong, but these large corp would say lock up all dumpsters before they would put a plan in place to recycle properly. Keep up the good work.
