this level seems rather easy, and the only reason that dude struggles so much is because he doesnt get energy early on... after getting 2 cannons, 2 mortars and 2 snipers on the right just get a bunch of mortars and sprayers on the left, easy...

@@Felix-dv9wn Because he didn't cover the land with energy generator pylons. You gain power for each square of land that is turned green by the basic towers. Like half the map if not more was not green early game which is a ton of potential power production not being used.

@@ArchivistMarker He skipped through all of the tutorial messages, and someone said he doesn't read comments... considering people have told him literally every single video, I'm inclined to believe it. Case in point, he says he cannot activate the turbine because he needs redon. @4:45 This is absolutely incorrect. If he read the message box upon loading the map, it tells you to switch one of the miners to produce bluite to produce anti-creep, and send it to the pyramid. The redon is to make missiles for the missile launchers, only. He doesn't effing read anything.

The area you had 4 giant towers, those are totems. You had a Pylon just far enough away not to reach all 4 so ylu only had 3 up, that's why you were at 4/5

*@BaronVonGames* 4:00 -ish. Most critical error: Going with miners first. A miner cost 50 energy, while a simple "power pole" costs 5, so always start by covering the available ground with "green stuff", then go to miners when you have enough power production to support it, also switch a miner to Bluite & build a factory asap. But the beginning nulifiers was smart (I used weapons to insta-kill anything spawned, it was fun). Also, mortars = deep creeper. Cannons = medium (1-2 "a few" height units). and finally Sprayers (anticreeper) = less than 1 height unit (best for stooping creepers reclaiming).

Hey baron, I have some info for you: 1, Soylant: Soylant is the green squares that radiate around a tower, and they produce A LOT of energy if used correctly. Never go for early game miners, other then on shaka to get up some AC (anticreeper) fed to the pyramid, so you have plenty of early game AC to help defend both continents. 2, Anticreeper: There are anticreeper spawners in 4 maps, and this is useful to know, the list is: Farsite, Ruins Repurposed, Day of Infamy, and finally shaka, Supply these with a ton of AC and you will result in tons of white living matter spreading across the whole continent. 3, The pylons and the miners: Miners seem like their great for early game, resulting in huge energy production, but they are inadequate for speed runs or easy games. For example, in "Before Time" Baron failed (or you failed) at doing the correct way of it. in that map baron (or you) put a base on the high ground and used way too many pylons and miners early game, but got lucky. Ok end of that segment. 4: Use 4x speed ALL THE TIME

The point on pylons and miners comes down to the fact that he seems to have completely missed the game introducing towers for energy generation, whilst not missing the game introducing miners as an energy source (in a level that started with the Soylent fields disabled to require miners set to energy production). Despite the best efforts of his comment section since the first video to enlighten him, he still seems to be completely oblivious to the purpose of the green tiles around the towers. If my memory serves, at one point he decided he preferred towers over pylons for pushing his front line because they seemed to do a better job at it; really, they were just slowly solving his energy problems, and thus producing more packets to be delivered to the front - a lucky break, otherwise this would be extremely brutal to watch.

The small towers are your primary source of power, place them so the most land is covered in green squares. The reclaim objective is basically retake a portion of the map(I think 80%) and hold it until the reclaim activation timer is 100%.

When I saw the name on my playthrough, I immediately thought "'when the walls fell.'" Then I started the mission and read the ADA log and thought "well, there's gonna be death." I was right. This is the first mission I restarted before completing and that was because I lost the base my first time around. It's easy to over produce mortars and finish none of them.

You missed a totem of the 4 that were by the shield wall, you only send arg to 3 of them talked about at 14:13. That is the missing totem victory objective. Reclaim Victory is to push back the creeper. Say if 1000 units of creeper existed at one time on the map, and the reclaim objective is set to 85%, then you would have to push it down to only 150 units, 15% of what the max value ever was. By that point you basically already won anyway which is likely why that objective was added. By 15:50 when you commented on it, there was basically no way for you to loose unless you intentionally tried to loose, the creeper could not stop you. Realistically, you had proven you would win long before that, but this is a game after all, it can't be that easy. Lastly, you forgot how power generation works, didn't you? In the first tutorial it mentioned how the basic towers turn the land green and that green becomes power generation.
