@vawest20523 жыл бұрын
Most chemical plants are zoned as commercial/industrial property, that usually requires a certain distance from private homes and businesses. It's different from state to state, laws in my state dictate that a 2 mile radius needs to be maintained around the chemical plant that is clear of the public, in case of explosion. But says nothing around the proximity to rivers or streams, how convenient, especially since most chemical facilities are near water or directly connected to a river. We just had a major explosion in Belle, West Virginia and it didn't even make the news, killed people, poured more poison into the river and not a peep in the media. There are twice as many chemical spills happening right now, know one will ever hear about. People can live hundreds of miles from chemicals but once those poisons are in the air and water it spreads everywhere. They find lead and plastic in the blood of polar bears thousands of miles away from such pollutants, so we thought, chemicals are chemicals no matter how far away you build the facilities. Greed and cost cutting by these manufacturers is killing everyone and everything in their path. It won't stop til were all dead and no one is left to buy their sh-t.
