Check the park website for updates!‼️
--------------------------------------
Gunlock Reservoir State Park is located near St. George Utah.
These amazing waterfalls only happen when there is a lot of spring runoff and this runoff has been very high this year! I visited this place back in April 2020 and have some comparisons at the end of the video, so make sure to watch until the end!
We stayed for a few hours getting pictures and videos and on the way home we found that the road was blocked due to flooding.
If you do plan to visit Gunlock, make sure to check current road/lake conditions. Roads may be closed!! They were closed the night we visited! Or even the park itself might be closed!
Please be careful around the falls! Every year there are waterfalls, people are injured! Don’t get too close to the waterfalls especially when they are this strong! Do not leave your trash (pick up some while you're there if you can too). A small community lives at Gunlock so please be respectful of them.
This is a fee area so make sure you bring cash or you can pay online before you go.

@@garygatto3410 Sorry but no God, Gods, Devils or other creations of the stunted human mind had anything to do with the creation of these natural wonders. The geological processes involved in their formation have been easily understood and described ever since a few thinking individuals got off the religious ratbaggery! 😱🙄

I have driven out there many times to take pictures of the water coming down the red cliffs. I live in STGU so it's only a 20-30 minute drive. There's so many beautiful areas around Gunlock. I love taking pictures out there and in Snow Canyon. My husband knows that if I take my camera with me, I'll probably be gone awhile. This is a beautiful video.

@@pewpewpewAK47 My husband and I also lived in Veyo before we moved back to St. George. I would go through Gunlock if I wanted to take pictures or just thing, listen to music and drive for no particular reason. I told my husband that we should go to Gunlock and on the way home, we can take the road to Veyo and pick up my favorite pie (sour cream and lemon) at Veyo Pies. Usually I go alone since he likes to do whatever we wanted or needed and go back home. Even though it takes longer to get home, I still like doing that. Thank you for sharing your video. I appreciate it

The rain and snow they got makes up about one half of what was lost over the last ten years.; that seems to be the consensus. It's a start,a good one too. Periods of wet and dry are the norm.
