Darling, I'm saying this as a bit older person (26 years old). If you feel like you have to do all this, to prevent him from possibly leaving you after 3 weeks apart, for possibly "not liking" you anymore, I think that you should maybe stop to think for a second about whether this boy is even good for you. I know you're very young, but you should always know that YOU ARE ENOUGH. And for the right person YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ENOUGH. It's normal to want to look good for someone you're attracted to, was it a boy or a girl, and sometimes one just feels like doing all this for their own self. But doing this FOR HIM to maximize the possibilities of him not leaving you sounds a bit toxic. YOU ARE ENOUGH with or without makeup, with or without fancy clothes, with or without nails, and with or without all this. And this goes for every young girl out there.
