Thanks, Joe! That's the most comprehensive review of all the new options that I have seen yet. Being able to hit bump and runs now is fantastic. That was one part of my game I could never improve using GSPro. I also love the new range and practice options. I think I hit 200 or 300 shots last might messing around with it on the random builder setting. I wish that they would add an option like Awesome Golf/FSX where you can enter a title or notes for a specific set of shots when selecting a new club. If it had that and a dispersion grouping map by those sets, it would be absolutely perfect!

Hey mate yeah I agree that little feature of awesome golf and the coaching section is amazing. It would be cool to see this come to GS Pro but I don't think it would even be on their radar. It would be amazing to have a compare tab in the range where it would then go into that mode.. like standard range, custom hole builder, the playground, and then compare!

Thanks Joe, one change that would be great; custom wind directions. Say you want practice on a course before playing it would be fantastic to have the option to play the prevailing or wind of your choice 🙂

I 100 percent agree with this comment it would be fantastic to be able to do this on the range... Or on the course. Just like in the foresight software. I'm definitely going to put this through to GS Pro and I highly recommend you do as well 👍👍

Great Video Joe. I love gspro and this update, but would have loved for the green grid to automatically disappear once you hit the ball. It's always looked very amateurish to me having to watch your ball roll through the grid. I know you can turn it off from the keyboard, but you have to do this every time you want to chip or putt. This feature works well and looks so much better on myTGC2019.

Great video Joe. Very thorough. I was hoping maybe you had some insider info to whether the ready indicator would work with the ProTee VX soon. I sure hope so as then I could turn off the annoying "ready" voice, lol. I noticed that all the distance challenges didn't reset from the beta version as I'm still leading the 30 yard one. I emailed them about the settings for these as I was hoping they would disable things like the stimp as I find if you were to set the stimp to the lowest setting it would be a lot easier to stop it quickly. Then it would be the same for everyone. Maybe I'm in the minority there. Another great feature would be for the ability for the custom skills test we create ourselves to be shared with everyone or at least have them available to be downloaded through a screen similar to the course selection where you could filter based on various criteria. The randomizer on the driving range is probably the best feature they have added. Since short game is what I practice the most on GSPro, this just gives a whole other level of shots to test your game. Add the fact you can do multiplayer, that takes it up even a notch further. It's basically having the ability to closest to the pin with random holes. Great stuff!

Hi Joe, Very informative video on GS Pro V3! I hadn't turned mine on since April and was totally lost when firing it up a couple weeks ago 😂. What launch monitor are you using now? What is giving you those two views in the upper left views in this video (strike location and ball leaving club in slow mo?). That is awesome 😮

Hello Joe, Thanks for a very good video. About the Minimap. Are the white dots a really fixed aim if I do nothing. Also it is automatically aiming towards the second white dot on par 5s. (If I do nothing). Sometimes I think it is merely a suggested aim point. Love to hear from you. Have asked Ralph but no reply so far.

Hey mate yes you got it the whit dots are what you will default aim for off the tee 👍👍 It is definitely just a default aim point that you should adjust as required. As my own personal default I have my carry yardage for driver set in my bag section in the settings so when I hit the J key it will show me where my driver is going to land.

Hey Joe! Have you noticed that ball behavior improved when the ball falls into the cup? I've always felt like in version 2, the ball would bounce out even though it was dead center and speed was decent. And the ball would never drop from the sides with correct speeds. Hope this makes sense, thanks for the video!

Is there any specific mode to learn (and save) your club distances? N shots with each club, show individual results, remove misfits, take average….and then integrate it into other modes as a caddy.

Hey Rolf thanks for the message mate this video comes from the Protee VX overhead launch monitor you should definitely check them out. They are actually from the Netherlands! Very close to you. Cheers

Hey Joe, been loving your content and I'm super stoked that you shoot with the Protee VX now and are working with them on making that monitor even better. Early on in this video you talked about the ball ready indicator, and I was wondering if you have any insight into Protee working with GSPro on a built for device integration and similar ready indicators for the VX? I do know this may not be high priority, but it is something I would like to see eventually, but am concerned it may not happen as Protee does offer their own software solution (kind of?) with TGC2019

I wonder if Arccos could be integrated with the sensors. So you could get shots gained etc…

I guess they could just have all your clubs displayed as per bag mapping in the bottom of the screen and then you could select the correct club quickly for all your shots and do strokes gained… give you similar data and things to work on based on GSPro on course data.

can you tell me what the difference in player setting vs force realistic?? i cant seem to find anyone who has discussed the difference in these two settings

With player settings you can adjust how much curvature you want and also you can add power to your shots. You you can mess with the physics if you have someone over who always hits a slice you can virtually straighten it out for them. Why you hit that force realistic button it forces realistic so it turns off any of those settings.

Hey Joe I just did the update and I am trying to download all of these courses however I am running out of space on my desktop...What do you rec for me to buy to be able to have all of the courses...Do I need an external hard drive (looking at at least 2TB) or should I buy an external SSD, not sure what the difference is...Thanks for the hep!!!

that’s exactly what I did. I bought an external SSD 2 TB. I got the Samsung t7 one. Now I just doenload every single course that comes to GS Pro

@ Hey Joe having issues now downloading new courses...Do I need to download the courses to my desktop hard drive and then transfer them to my SSD...I am trying to download the courses directly to my SSD folders but a course is not finishing(it stays at 100%) and just sits there...Thanks for any help

Do you know why gspro haven't added a separate tile window for dual monitors? Keep all the metrics on another screen and keep sim screen decluttered like FSXPlay? I get the API connector but that's blah

I noticed after skulling a few 7 woods from tee box that they actually went 230 yards! more than when I hit it pure. IT goes low and forever.. LOL In reality those shots would of been far less and likely gone in the bush. I find sand shots are a little more realistic and need a little more effort.

@ ok but when on the web site it says my have ALERT: A valid FSX Play or FSX 2020 software license is required to run GSPro with a Foresight Sports launch monitor. If you have a Launch Pro, a Gold Subscription is required (Gold trial customers are not eligible). GC2 Launch Monitors are not supported.

It shouldn’t limit to 8 players imo…except for perhaps certain tournaments etc…but should have ability to do as many players as you want in many cases. Kids parties, friends over etc..many times you might want more.
