How are you all keeping?
Today was a well overdue H&M plus size haul. As we are entering the new season, the fashion is changing, and today, we have a mixture of end of summer, new in autumn fashion.
This haul put me on a bit of a downer because the sizes i ordered were slightly on the tight size but they did fit well most of them bar one dress.
There were a few things I loved from this haul especially all the little tops with the pretty necklines.

Jodi, I have recently bought a few things from h & m and I can honestly say the sizing is so so strange and super frustrating too! I am a size 18 and have recently bought a few dresses over the summer. One is a medium! Another a large, another an XL and another in XXL!!! So please don't take this haul personally. It's not about you it's the brand. I've learnt to ignore the label with h & m and just buy one in each size and return the one that doesn't fit. I have also noticed the latest autumn arrivals are so so small in store , feels like the clothes have shrunk! You look beautiful as always!

I understand your frustration with the fluctuation in your weight, but weight loss is a journey, filled with ebs and flows. We have to learn how to love ourselves at every stage. Please don’t be so hard on yourself Jodi, I have the same struggles and I’m assuming most of us do in real life! I find H&M’s sizing to be all over the place so I don’t think it’s you, I think it’s them!😂 I tend to like material with interesting patterns so my favourites were the last dress for the pattern of the material and it’s a shame about the black and white zebra print dress! I personally find true wrap dresses hard to wear as they always seem to open up too much in the skirt and I feel self conscious when sitting down..☹️ The one with the snag in it is a beautiful colour with your skin tone and of course with your beautiful shoulders too! I didn’t feel the size was too small but you know how it feels to you.. I’m also struggling with pain management, diet and eating, life, etc.. but you are so right that it could absolutely be worse so we all need to count our blessings while we have them❣️❤️🥰

Hi Jodie, great haul. Thank you for being just you. I have struggled with my weight up and down most of my life. I have done every slimming group. At the moment I’m not looking my best and like you I need to lose weight for health reasons, but we just need to take each day as it comes if we have a bad day tomorrow is a new day. You’re trying your bestthat’s all anybody can ask. Don’t be hard on yourself take some time out for self-care and love XX

I always love watching you Jodie, sometimes life just gets in the way of our weight loss journeys so don’t beat yourself up. I know you need to lose weight because of your knee op but you always look gorgeous to me I see beyond a few extra pounds. You picked up some unusual pieces in this haul, it was hard to pick a favourite, sizing is all over the place in every store I go into so don’t let that give you a downer because you always shine so brightly 🌟🌟 x

Thank you for your haul. Looked lovely in alot of the items. ❤ Know the feeling about fluctuating weight and how it makes you feel. I waa supposed to go to carnival and just didn't feel comfortable in anything I tried on and didn't go.😢 Hopefully I will get there.🙏🏾 Their sizes also can be hit and miss in my opinion. Jodie, you are so beautiful and I love your channel. I struggle with my weight but joined SW yet again and have lost 2 stone 4lbs since March. Slow and steady due to chronic conditions and menopause. It comes off and goes back on and is a pain but keep going. You honestly look great in everything you put on 😊 xx

Hi Jodi thanks for your vlog. Love all the outfits and you looked good in all of them. I get what you mean with the elastic sizing think blue dress there plus size is ok but sizing is weird. It depends on the style , make and material it's made from. You felt a bit down about the couple pound on, don't be as it could be water retention. Due to my illness I gained a lot of weight and kept gaining till I could not walk, I need an operation to come off oxygen and hypertension tablets I have to loose weight as putting strain on the heart, was booked in for gastric bypass was not too happy but on a years waiting list thats way too long. I have tried every diet and minimal exercise they work for a time then gain back the weight and more. I decided in May of this year that I would try the mounjaro after tons of research and following people on it and my doctor's I do it on the online pharmacy's have doctors there and also my details and progress goes to my GP. It's the best thing ever. I have lost 55 pounds to date still have to loose a big more to get operation , best thing ever, one week I lost all the water in my legs so no more swelling in the legs I can now walk and gig back a bit of life and getting better. I am on very high dose of water tablets never really budged the mounjaro worked, hard to explain but I felt good mentally and physically. It works similar to the bypass but less invasive. So fingers crossed I can get my op soon. On it more or less tells me when full etc. I am just saying about my weight and insecurities. But H and M clothing fits weird but they have come a long way in sizing and same style and make like the smaller sizes. Regarding the background it was not that bad you could still see the clothing etc. continue to do you

Now Mary mint no beating yourself the only thing it does is make it harder to loose weight. The lovley flower dress is so nice but my long body would make that middle thing stick in all the wrong places. Love the red top oh woman you suit red And I really liked the safari dress Never think of hm for real clothes just joggers and the like. Have a great week

Hi jodie, loved the first dress, I love white so this was right up my street, so much so that I am going to buy it😂. Your bra was OK, I didn't see anything wrong the red jumper it was gorgeous on you. Jodie I seriously think you are being too hard on yourself, I agree H & M sizes are all over the place so it's not you. Don't let this get you down, it's easy to put on weight and very difficult to take it off. I honestly hand on heart think you look good in anything you wear. I am struggling with the menopause at the moment, sometimes I feel like crap and there are days when I feel depressed and will reach for a bounty as I have a sweet tooth, plus my achilles are playing up so we all have those days so don't be too hard on yourself. I like the fact that you keep it real and this is what we all love about you. A wonderful haul as usual, you bring a ray of sunshine to my sitting room every Wednesday and Sunday. Hello stunning Jodi .Firstly can you please stop fretting over the lighting it was fine all the way through! Secondly yes I hear you regarding weight gain and loss,I’m in the same boat really struggling and have been for a few weeks,like you my head’s not in the right place.As I’ve said before just get back into n that old wagon and keep trying to be consistent,it will come back but you need to focus on your knee surgery when your about to eat something that is taking you away from the surgery.We are with you Jodi always x

Hi Jodie, i dont know if you remember, but i commented about the weight loss surgery when you decided not to go ahead with it. I had to have mine done again because i developed a hernia. I just wanted to say that even with having surgery, i have found my weight fluctuating, and i go through periods of time where i gain weight and then struggle to get it off again. Be kind to yourself. You have done amazing, and you can do it. ❤❤❤❤❤

Jodie, stop beating yourself up. I find with clothing that their sizing is all over the place. You looked fine in the dresses especiallly the navy blue and the last cream dress. Companies buy from all over the place and no 2 size 22's are the same. I have the same problems. Many companies do not fit to a real plus size woman and others cut to a 22 without seam allowance, then once sewn together the garment is a size less. The only way to be reasonably sure is to check size charts on every garment which is bloody annoying. I have just bought another pair of linen trousers, now I know I am a 22 on the bottom, so I ordered a 22 and they are huge. I have still got my big bum and legs so I know my size has not changed. You cannot win. Come on, chin up, you are beautiful inside and out. Stay well, much love. xxx
