MASSIVE JP MORGAN GOLD WITHDRAWAL FROM COMEX

It is true that today JP Morgan’s total gold inventories fell from 1,398,214 oz on Thursday to 1,197,462 oz: only a 15% decline in their total inventories. But remember in, 2014 JPM withdrew 312,000 oz in one day, which was the biggest withdrawl ever. Articles proclaimed "the end is near" and stated that, "2014 will be the year of the financial collapse". The ultimate impact..... Not much. What will the impact of this be...we shall see, but I am betting on, not much again. Great food for thought, thanks for posting.

Cull Silver yes there was a larger withdrawal last year - the difference is, COMEX Gold inventories are now at an All-Time low. thanks for watching.

My take...Inventories cab be low when the number of investors is down. I think this is nothing more than the fact that JPM's customers are getting out of gold at an astonishing rate. Just reaching a new 5 year low spot and having the biggest % drop in prices in years last month, the number of investors participating in gold is dropping. The stock market recent drop would traditionally make gold prices go up, but it didn't. With the dollar becoming even stronger recently and the looming threat of interest hikes, IMO gold is positioned to take a whopping! I think a great buying opportunity is around the corner.

This drop of 200,000 oz. is 3% of USA yearly production of 7,000,000 oz. Why is JPM selling gold, they should be buying at this time..

lambecolin Good question, these are Physical withdrawals - so they have to be going to meet obligations somewhere.
