Venice Louisiana has been on my bucket list since I was about 20 and I am 48 right now. I have been deep sea fishing my entire life. I live in Freeport Texas, we have a little 25 foot Robalo that gets the job done, and we are offshore probably 20 or 30 times a year. I captain some charter boats for some friends at times when they have trips and do not wish to go that day. What Rob says hear about it looking easy but being very easy to find yourself in a life-threatening situation is extremely true. It's not like being in a calm Lake with Shore 50 feet away.
