Incredible lineup in this video, lucky to have just found a 50ml of Iquitos, cannot wait to have it.. Many of what you've shown today I consider Top of the mountain and Best of All Time fragrances.. Very powerful group of frags from the time when they knew how and had the right stuff to make the Best Frags of our lifetime... Borsalino is an Italian hat maker. Their hats have adorned the heads of many back in the golden days of hat wearing. Notably Humphrey Bogart was known to wear them in a number of his movies.

Cool video. I'm only 32 but I love vintage stuff. I own 6 different YSL Kouros bottles, Iquitos, Furyo, Balenciaga Pour Homme, vintage Antaeus, Boss no 1 and many decants. I really hate this old people's fragrance or young people's fragrance classification. Wear what you want guys! I got many compliments for these fragrances. Now they smell like niche!

My favorite scent till today is a classic - Chanel pour monsieur. I beleive it was first released in 1955 and gained a lot of popularity in the 80s. My father used this cologne along with other men in my family and it really left a strong impression on me. The scent is timeless just not very long lasting. I definitely recommend and would love to hear your opinion on it if you have the pleasure of coming across a bottle.

I've been enjoying Acteur for several years now. I got a great deal on a 100ml dabber. It smells to me like a cigarette, made of Damask rose petals. I really love it. I bought a 2.5 oz of Basile Uomo several weeks ago and sprayed it once before leaving on an extended business trip. My God is it good! It's easily the best fragrance I've bought in several years! This is a great haul, Sebastian!

I like Acteur- it has a slightly tomatoish rose thing going on. It's a nice masculine rose, without being overly macho. I wish there were more fragrances like this. I recently got a bottle of Rasasi Shuhrah because it advertises a Rose/Tomato leaf accord.

Great video. Furyo by Jacques Bogart is one of the great-smelling men's fragrances. The notes are strong in this one, but very smooth and well blended and wearable.

Iquitos is one of my favorites of all time! Great masculine green/floral. Also like the Franco Smalto. Kind of a scratchy lavender with oak moss and some Tonka to sweeten it up. That was a designer release from the late 80s.

I own 100 ml of furyo and it is fantastic! If you like kouros give that bad boy a try. If you like the house of bogart try bogart signature from the 70s.. or if you want a newer bogart that blows me away try riviera nights. I also have 100ml of cristobal and it is amazing.. i also love balenciaga pour homme but i only have a 30 ml bottle i need a backup bottle of balenciaga pour homme. Shame the house of balenciaga doesnt do mens fragrences anymore. The other vintages i scored recently that blew me away is rochas macassar. The greeness from the pine and artemesia contrasted with the leather just blew me away. I also got 100 ml of Lagerfeld cologne when bethco produced the Lagerfeld fragrences and it is so much better than the current Lagerfeld classic they sell today! Really sad i havent been able to hunt down Iquitos yet :( Cheers -Ramsey

As for nina ricci yes they do have many perfumes mostly for women my aunt used to wear l'air du temps by nina ricci back in the 80s and I could still almost remember the smell beautiful beautiful perfume, don't know though if it is reformulated

You look so handsome in this video (although you always look great wit hats or hatless). Although this video was mostly about men’s vintage fragrances, I actually once owned or now own quite a few and also remember and owned some of those very old vintage ones. I had some in the men’s version but also some of the women’s like L’heure Bleue and the women’s version of Balenciaga’s Cristobal and my bottle looks similar except it’s only 1.7 oz. Also, do not knock your hair as most men have no hair at all! I enjoyed your video as always.

There used to be a woman who sold colognes and perfumes in the vince lombardi service plaza in ridgfield New Jersey. She used to do great deals like 3 for $75 and you could get whatever you wanted. Sadly after the renovation of the plaza she is no longer there.

Thanks for the video! My dad had a few of these, so seeing them again gave me some nostalgic chills! But i need to say i prefered that white chevignon over furyo by bogart 😁 then i also remember what about adam (and women version all about eve) and christobal balenciaga (also both homme and femme version), those ones were great. Would be happy to sample alain delon and versace jeans. Then also joint, even it sounds smth similar to furyo. Very interesting to see that you are in vintage phase, is it related to current situation that there are no new interesting releases? Cheerz! 🌹

IQUITOS!!! I remember that one! I forgot how it smells though. Eau Sauvage is one of my all time favorites , my father use it in the 60's - 70's, it's still very good I like the current formulation. None of the others I remember maybe names but never tried them, the one vintage that I need a bottle is Kanøn, I bought a recent formulation and it's sadly destroyed, also 70's Aphrodisia for men by Faberge. My father used Brutt 33. Glad i kept a bar of soap of it, so i got reverence to it. Also a tiny bottle that had Bodoolt Eau de Cologne in it and a bottle with braids that had Nina Ricci in it.

I've become a total Eau Sauvage EdP afficionado. The EdT is too Lemon-Drops-y, a thin yet piercing lemon blast and that's it. The EdP provides a whole world of levels, and it is especially the oakmoss that distinguishes the EdP profoundly from the EdT.

I thought, "There's just GOT to be something amazing there, the way Sebastian talks about, something I'm missing"! 😊 And it was also your recommendation of Chypre Mousse, which, used a day or two before Eau Sauvage Parfum, that provided my "college degree" on what oakmoss smells like. Once I picked it up in Eau Sauvage I realized that THAT was the scent assaulting (if pleasantly) my senses in Chypre Mousse. It's so much more subtle in Eau Sauvage, but unmistakably there.

You’re right Sebastian about EDT’s back in the days are like EDP’s and even PARFUMS of today . The formulations today are disappointing (not all). Even the one with an EDP formulation doesn’t perform as good as EDT’s back in the days.

Captain from Molynuex, Aramis the classic the 900, live three of them and forget about gentleman version. Jazz from YSL. Cartier must du Cartier. Masculan 2 from Bourjois. Furyo is nuclear, animalic, and will put hair on your back. I picked-up a bottle back in 2015 and one-half sprays under the shirt is all I dare spray because it last a full-day, and night too. I made the mistake of going with 4-5 sprays the first time I wore it and...well, it lasted on my skin almost two full days. This is a manly-man 80s powerhouse cologne IMO. I love quite a few of the discontinued Balenciaga gentlemen's scents (Ho Hang Club being my favorite) and almost purchased Cristobal many times back in the day...should have, and I still may if I can find it for a reasonable price. I too want a vintage bottle of Eau Sauvage (not easy to come by these days) but I settled for a clone from DUA. I don't know how the vintage smells, but DUA knocked-it-out-of-the-park...love, love, love it. Likewise, I always purchased a bottle of Iquitos about 10-years ago...wish I had, no doubt. Great stuff...oh, get yourself a bottle of Ho Hang Club if you haven't tried it...testers were still reasonably priced (picked up a few 50ml bottles for $30 each two years ago) and a 50ml can be had for around $50. Just do it...you'll thank me later. Cheers!

Great selection Sebastian! I have some of them and love them. Try to find R de Capucci pour homme, (in the same ballpark with Basile uomo and Borsalino, but more potent), Hugo Boss elements (a great fougere), and Tabac extreme (aldehydes with tobacco flower). Lastly, let me remind you horizon from Guy Laroche which I like very much.

Don't know if you have tried Ricci Club by Nina Ricci? Discovered it in the early 90s. Still have a bottle. I consider it a great summer fragrance.
