I love this build so much! It reminds me of the Red Keep. Though I don’t think stone walls would require buttresses, as they’re usually used for cathedrals, whose large amounts of stained glass windows weakens the load bearing walls.

The spectacle of the build compared to other castles is not jusr dedication and hard work, but in appearance this structure felt like.it came from an entirely different game. The landscape itself helped with that, gorgeous by the way! The details going into this magnificent built made it stand out to look realistic than just blocks in a screen. Great job, you might be the next high realistic builder.

I´m just gonna copy a ton of ideas of the step by step that you followed (first the base, then the towers, etc and not all at the same time). I have to learn to detail like this, I think that you are making builds that are in another level, fantastic work as always. PD: It kinda reminds me to the Red Keep of King´s Landing in Game of Thrones.

You have a really unique style, I love it! I just want to point out some flaws in castle's defences, seen in 6:41 6:50 and 6:53 where the slopes reach to the top of the walls or even above them.

this looks fantastic! my only real gripe is that the walls are completely compromised by the earthwork. you can just walk up those hills into the castle bypassing all the defenses! other wise it's a wonderful work!

Exceptional Build! I love the center build palette and the variety of angles are a perfect contrast to the exterior section. What build mods did you use for this?

I don't know if it was intentional or anything like that, but I like how it almost looks like the grey sections were built at a different period than the brownish-orange section. My mind goes the route of the original builders having been conquered, left, or maybe died out and the grey builders found it, moved in and later added their own buildings or vice versa with maybe the meteorite having killed the grey builders. Looks really great!

Very nice build! I love lots of the details like roof catapults. One complaint though, I do not understand the usage of flying buttresses on the outer walls. They function to direct weight off a wall to allow less material usage in a wall (often for windows). The outer wall of the castle has no holes, and if the towers needed the extra support of flying buttresses to stand, that would be a weak point for an attacking army. Otherwise, I love how strong this castle looks. Especially like the tonal change between the inner keep and outer walls.

You should complete a tutorial on why you build the way you do. I see the general idea, but why do you use certain colors, and why do you have random waves of purple before you convert to your final building material. Is it an organizational system or do you have a deeper method.

its an organizational thing. different buildings with different colored wool, so that i can replace it with a block texture when that section is completed
