@@AnontheGOAT omg seriously ? I'm SHOCKED! Seriously! Ok, there's obviously no way we could buy one of those RVs because we're in Belgium for starters but also there are very few roads (apart from highways of course) that you could take this in Europe. That said, my husband and I have been looking at motorhomes over here over the past couple of weeks (since we got back from holiday in southern France with our caravan, an LMC 520K, which we only just got last year lol). We were going to go to one of the biggest caravaning salons in Europe that is being held right now in Düsseldorf but we decided not to bother as my husband saw that apparently none of the big brands for motorhomes over here are on display, such as Hymer. Oh well..... so I love to look at this IMPOSSIBLY massive RVs over there in the US! ;-) My gosh if we were older and the kids were on their own, I'd love to sell the house and travel around in one of those literal houses on wheels! I showed this to the hubby yesterday and his eyes popped when I showed him the price! Hahahahahaha Have a great day....despite ....well, you know..... *sigh*. This is another way of thinking about less stressful things.

Not much of a sale price. 25% off MSRP at a minimum. Of course we bought ours in Indiana and ordered it vs buying one the dealer had on hand so there might be more room to negotiate pricing.

Keep in mind that the moment they say Manufacturers price is 98k, Joe's RV is selling this for $65k... A dozen other retailers will immediately sell for $64990, and tell every interested customer we beat Joe's RV's prices everyday! RV's like cars are a very competitive market.

I think a washer/dryer located in a slide out is likely to cause the entire RV to shake when being used. This is what a friend told me with their Montana same floor plan.

We don't own an RV but we'd love to in the future. This is probably the nicest unit I've ever seen in a 5th Wheel. There isn't one thing that I didn't like. That bathroom/bedroom layout was amazing. And storage, wow!! Thanks for showing us this. Forgive this next question - I'm a novice to this industry - What are we talking in terms of a vehicle towing this unit? Certainly not my Kia Soul! (hehe)

It is my understanding that Montana has eliminated the sticker wrap on their cabinets. They are all stained hardwood. I prefer a bathroom pocket door. I like it when they separate the entertainment cabinet and kitchen with a pantry.

Beautiful. Big! Great floor plan. So much internal storage. Agree on pricing. Prices vary across the country. Relatively small basement and there are sewer lines that obstruct the space 🥺. Wish the Montana (and other models) had an electric power cord reel that didn’t take up storage space. Like the material that was beneath the dining area, so much better than carpet. Did you ever do a video that addresses the various fees that different dealers might apply to the RV cost, such as delivery fee? This would be very educational to the new buyer.

Absolutely love the layout of this 5th wheel! The hallway closets are huge! However, I have to agree with JD about the waste of space by placing the kitchen sink in the middle of the island. It makes much more sense to have the sink at the end of the island next to the coffee station.

We own this unit...well the 3812. We absolutely love it!!! Thanks for pointing out the lp quick connect I didn’t realize there was one. We tow this with a 2018 Ram 3500 mega SRW. Dry weight towing it home was no issue however once we loaded it up for fulltiming I could feel it a bit more. I added Timbrens and now it tows like a dream. I am going to upgrade the brakes to disc later 5his fall and considering comfortride slipper springs and shocks. I would be interested in your thoughts on that. All in all this is the best floor plan for us and couldn’t be happier with it. Thanks for the video walkthrough. I agree with you on the pricing. Certainly if folks can find this on KZbin they can look up the unit on Rv trader to get pricing ;)

If I'm going to watch a 17-minute video on a 5th wheel trailer, I'd like to get pricing info. Of course that info will eventually be out of date, but it's very useful at the time, and even later, when it's not quite as current, it is still useful as a general ballpark figure.

I'm real surprised that it only has an 8" beam to the 12". I would be real worried about bending that beam for as much as it weighs. Also again no room for CPAP in the bedroom. Other than that, very beautiful rig.

Have you seen the new 2021 Montana High Country 383TH? I Love the new lighter colored cabinets so much that I special ordered one with double pane windows. But I do not like the light colored furniture at all so I got the espresso brown furniture ('Homestead Decor' package). Front living room and Rear Bedroom 5th wheels are the only floor plan models that I will buy!

General fifth wheel question : I’ve read that some folks say there are clearance issues towing a fifth wheel with a mega-cab. I currently have a 2017 mega cab and love the extra space ... my next upgrade would be a 3500 mega cab Dually ... ** are there any specs or measurements that are a general rule of thumb that the trailer would have issues being towed by a MC? Thank you

I like the coffee bar but I'd like to see an outlet mid or far left rather than just far right. I can see the far right getting keys, hats, wallets, purses, etc temporarily thrown there when people enter the unit. ...I don't think you captured the toilet configuration.

Hmmmmm I didn't see a 110v outlet at the coffee bar. Unless it is under the top cabinets. So if you are out shopping for an RV and use KZbin videos for research check out the dates of the videos. It might be out dated. Also in the RV world the new year models come out April, May, & June. once the 2021's came out it made your 2018 one year older in value. In motorhomes a 2021 may have a 2020 chassis.

My 2008 Nissan Titan Towing capacity: 6,500 to 7,400 lbs Payload: 1,382 to 2,063 lbs. 317 Horse Power. What is the best (4 season) (at least one pop out) travel trailer length with the towing weight for my truck? Will the weight include all the water and propane tanks being full? Beautiful camper, and the washer area is a plus. However, I’ve owned a Keystone product that I had to have all my slide bottoms changed due to rotting. Keystone wouldn’t back their product up. It cost me $13,000, and they gave $800. The camper was only 4 years old. Keystone lost me for good.

One very unique feature the Keystone Montana MS’s have (there’s four versions -3810-3813) is the split level design of the bathroom. Have never seen it in any other large 5th wheel. This feature gives you ~ 8” of additional ceiling height in the bathroom, and in particular in the shower! It also creates a little more cabinet storage space in the bath. The only way to get a higher ceiling in the shower is to get a rear bath model, but that would require the unit to be front living, which we’re not fans of. This feature makes the MS a great choice for us tall guys (>6’ 2”) who still want a rear living 5th wheel. Thanks for the great reviews!

Its not the fact of saying the price on the video but the underlying facts that dealerships want you to click on their products and call them so they get an extra chance ever be so slim for business. In other words selling out etrailer for RV sales in addition. However he has shown pinned in comments he has not sold out just an oversite on his fans.

We own a 3813ms like this and one of its best features is shower height. Because the bathroom floor is only 2 steps above the main floor the shower head height is 7 feet high. Every other Montana and frankly every other RV that I have seen has a shower height of 6’4” max. I am 6’3” and this is sensational for me, yes I fit in the shorter ones but I must squat to wash my hair and I just feel more at home with normal ceiling height. Of course I love that I get 4 feet of closet and 6 drawers too!

We have the 2019 version of this fifth wheel. 3810 MS. We love the layout!! The only thing we would change on ours is putting a drawer under the couch in the bedroom and side shelf on both sides of the bed.

Negative voltage is just as dangerous as positive voltage, probably due to people dont pay as careful attention to it. And a DC negative won't let go of you. Especially in this situation. A lot of fuses would have to blow before it let go.

I see from the comments I'm not alone on the disappointment in no pricing being mentioned. I noticed it in the last video and hoped it was a one off. Apparently not. Your knowledge and disclosures set you apart from the rest. I hope you reconsider this new "strategy". MSRP shouldn't be an issue. If the sole reason it's because someone can't figure out pricing changes from year to year, they probably shouldn't be making any financial decisions by themselves anyway.

MSRP is pointless except as starting point. Any dealer will sell one to you for at least 25% less than sticker and up to 40% off is possible. we paid far less the quoted price in the video and we got Full body paint Legacy mostly loaded with options. We ordered because the dealer does not stock FBP models. Your best pricing will always come by ordering it on spec because dealer does not have to carry it as inventory.

Haha. Apparently you don't wash the dishes very often. Counter on one side is for dirty dishes. Counter on the other side is for clean ones. It's WAY better to have a centre sink.

Great video! And I’ve been loving all of your videos. I’ve watched at least 50. Maybe 100! Haha. Please don’t stop mentioning pricing! People understand that things change and dealerships are different, but it’s the biggest single point of research in a buying decision. I hate watching a DIY video or something else, being super interested, and then by the end of the video I still have no idea if it is possible for me because the price wasn’t mentioned. We’re not expecting some exact quote, but it’s nice just to get a ballpark.
