Have you ever considered using the Improved Tooltips mod? It tells you exactly what stats each item will give you. It may be really useful for some of the other characters in this mod.

So weird and maybe tedious thought that would require a lot of luck(in stats and real life). Maybe you could GMO the cyclops and wholesaler and do a luck/elemental/harvesting/explosive character and the wholesaler would let you buy max the first time you naturally come across the cyclops eye. Could scrap your initial weapon to increase the chance of getting the eye. But basically 6 laser eye run. Would be a pain to set up but it could be fun to see it in action
