I'm bullish as long as member growth remains strong. Most of Wallstreet can't get past using Price to Book to SoFi. They don't even understand why they use Price to Book to evaluate banks, they just 'know' that you always use P/B to evaluate banks.

I am more inclined to speculate on noto ' s call options at $20++ . I believe he will somehow push sofi up to $30. Regarding p/b it is right and wrong at the same time. Growing banks should focus on tangible p/b growth.

I think I learned this fro you Great TAM, good Valuation narrative, and better FCF....If 2 out of 3 of those make sense I am done messing around in here...Time to consolidate ....trim all my positions like NVDA that I am waiting for 2 more cycles of real growth and adding to 2 ETFS and 4-6 of the best companies for the next 10-20 years..... The goal to become a top 10 US Bank means a market cap of $86B. To become a top 5 US Bank the market cap would be $180B by today, if SOFI is valued just as a bank and by ignoring the technical side hustles of this company.

Seems to be some confusion about student loans forgiveness. SoFi is a private student loan lender not a Federal student loan lender. Biden forgave Federal student loans not private student loans. Anyways, the issue is now moot and SoFi is a much stronger and better diversified company now as a result.

I agree it has potential but the valuation has gone way ahead and assumes everything will go perfectly including Galileo. It will grow into its valuation eventually but I think in the next market pullback or slightly bad news Sofi will go back under $10

I would consider taking a plunge or even better, doing some DCA (unless you also have some other potential stock to buy on the dip). I may be wrong but I have a feeling is that we just saw sub $16 share prices for the last time. There is a lot of institutional investors taking interest in this stock.

stock talks aside, "plenty of folks throughout many many years have been paying their debt and did not get their student loan forgiven so yeah" - what an absurd thing to say. People have been paying student loans for decades to end up owing more than what they owed to begin with, just so these big companies can profiteer out of people's work. People that were just trying to get an education (isn't that good?). "Because I have suffered, everyone coming after me needs to suffer too. Since shit wasn't fixed when I went through it, means I shouldn't try to fix it for people who'll follow." What a small way of looking at life.

Student loans are non-collaterized loans... plus we are in a recession, so when people refi (with hopes & dreams) and eventually default (in a recession and poor job market), who's holding the bag? This could lead to a repeat of 2008. Add the inappropriate dollar amount of 144's filed at this moment, no thank you. Invest long at your own peril or play short and ride the KZbin/Reddit plugs.

Galileo is the big wild card risk factor that many are betting on monetizing. If they don’t get the traction that the world is expecting, the market may punish shareholders.

@ there’s another side to it though from my view. The mega trend of the new age of banking. And not just banking but becoming a full service financial services firm across many product segments. Wealth management, trading, investing, lending, PE, ALTS. I think that even if Galileo doesn’t build out their market segment, Sofi is becoming the new age financial services firm (bank) and someone will want to buy their customer base and brand.

Tu as vu que Palantir et Anduril s’unissaient pour répondre à des appels d’offre dans la défense. Il faudrait toujours passer par Palantir. Ce sont les mieux placés s'il faut croiser des datas. Si un satellite donne la position d'un char, détecté par radar, à un drone, pour aller le détruire. Palantir est le seul à pouvoir lier tout ça en temps réel. S'il pouvait aussi gérer tout le gouvernement fédéral, ça serait facile pour Musc de trouvé 2T$ sur les 7T$ que l'état fédéral dépense chaque année, dans on ne sait trop quoi.
