Auto-Crafting is a very nice concept which many more ARPGs could need (looking at PoE). The amount of times i slammed 200-300 Essences on an item to get a specific T1 mod (and maybe even clicking once too often) is too damn high and i would appreciate such a feature. Make it a stash tab, a league feature, idc, i just want this

p2w suck but i need to be honest. for beign a mobile game and with all the content they offer, they are doing a great effort to reduce the bad monetization, plus the game is super fun and has a TON of build variety, so i will keep supporting them to see where the game goes

yep,they have found a sweet spot in my opinion.not making a big impact on normal player,you will still get nice loot even without p2w,and can complete all content,getting endgame gear with it.just slower.

The paywall to play any fun build was the reason I stopped playing. If they are removing that paywall then ill definitely give it a shot.

My problem with P2W is not the pack spirits that increase the FE, But the gate the heroes are locked behind is a bit too much I think all characters should be unlocked and the season character can be locked behind the battlepass then becomes free when a new season starts

the item mirroring is really good specially together with copying builds so that instead of crafting yourself and praying for good results atleast you can have a straight path equipment progression.

I'm pretty casual and I tend to hit a wall in terms of knowing what to prioritize when buying new gear on the AH. And due to the low population nobody, not even Maxroll, makes detailed end game build guides with priorities and breakdowns. I'm pretty sure I won't complete the boss kill event for the pet. But I welcome some of the changes being made. I'm just not sure TLI can grow their player base in the West. Especially with POE2 on the way. It sounds like they are (understandably) catering to their chinese audience who devour the content too quickly and.

Not saying this because im new player who play low seasons, but after this last season who give the chance for craft legendary it was alot of new ppl who dont reach really high and because of that dont do alot of craft, i know the people who play this game long time with practices ( luck or without luck because not always the item go well and do it with the craft ) the other people keep with the legendary who craft or buy the item with fe, but with this new crafting system now people are forced or craft or buy the item if they wanna go higher difficulty.

i do wonder with all this overhaul what is going to happen to dream crafting i always used it to get my 5th affix to t0 and then enchant on the 6th affix...if t0s are gonna be deterministic what about the dreams...

dream crafting is implicit (not base affixes) you pick 1 dream mod (upside) and 1 nightmare affix (downside)

@@wh0reb0t Exactly. The entire construct of Diablo-style ARPG's is that they offer non-deterministic upgrades. We kill mobs because each mob is its own slot machine and we might get our upgrade, or we might not. There usually are more deterministic upgrade paths alongside this, but these tend to come with a higher cost or some other downside. This is how it should be. If you don't want to craft, you can simply buy from crafters (and pay a premium for it). Now, I do agree that crafting, while still staying non-deterministic, could be less tedious. Alteration spamming, once players figured out how to do it optimally, it just a time tax for power and it's not that interesting. It's also really annoying when you accidentally roll over the mod you're looking for because you entered a trance after 500 alterations. Overall though, the popularity of crafting highlight videos goes to show that many players do find this process exciting. I know I do. If it was all deterministic like WoW's endgame (farm x amount of y boss currency to get your endgame item that is exactly like every other endgame item of its class), it would be a complete snooze fest. No ty.
