I wonder if anyone really realizes the impact Jeremy is having on the community. From the farm and now 2 pubs not to mention the farm shop and the restaurant and the fellow farmers all around his community. He does not have to open all the business; Lord knows he has enough money for himself. But by doing all of this he is benefacting hundreds of people. He has brought to light and exposed to the public the severe issues of the farmers due to the complete Incomitance of the government both local and federal not only in the UK but in many countries across the continents. God bless you Jeremy and Thank You for all you have done. How I wish you were here where I am. 🏎👨🌾🍻💌

...and the only saying goes 'three don't agree' 🍺
@American-Motors-Corporation2 ай бұрын
Well yes I will say there is no replace but I'm also a believer in the idea that though the public at first might view whoever steps into their shoes as a replacement but if they were to get three presenters especially those that's worked for them behind the scenes you know a few roadies that may have their own take on it they may have their own camaraderie you know they could step out on their own and make it their own thing which is going to be hard to do because you don't want to make it too serious especially to start out with otherwise you'll bore people but you also don't want to make it two outlandish to where it definitely looks like a bit of a rip off of Clarkson in the gang so for them to find their niche it's going to be a pain in the ass but if willman is involved which I hear he is then I'm certain they're going to cover a direction that they didn't really cover before and they'll probably still throw in some of the goofy travel stuff etc. I'm of the mindset of give it a chance we don't really know until we watch it and you know it might take a lot of people a couple of seasons before they decide whether or not it's really any good.

Well another possibility is this whole banning of James May and potentially Richard Hammond from the farm and the pub that could be somewhat of a setup for something in the future. You know it might be that James May and Richard Hammond or one of them independently is driving around the countryside for whatever reason in some whatever car and it just so happens to break down and so he has to or both of them would have to go either to the pub or the farm with their hat and their hand to try and get help of some sort. Lol And I imagine the scene would be Clarkson shows up and basically orders them out and doesn't care or it could be the Clarkson is going to and from the pub or the farm and spots this car and or cars and gets suspicious that those two are knocking around. Lol You know it could be that one of Clarkson's employees or perhaps his girlfriend allows them in their and maybe they see him coming and they try to hide in the back or something I mean who knows that I could see them do some funny little skit about how they're banned and they're not supposed to be there but then here they are.

I'm the same age as May and have also spent my life falling off motorcycles since I passed my test over 40 years ago and if he's half a crocked as I am of a morning I think there is a lot of truth in both May and Clarkson's comments about being too old to keep on doing it to the high standards they have set. When you look back at their catalogue of four-wheel adventures they are probably pretty close to the mark when they say they have run out of original ideas. I would like to see May (or Hammond) doing a program on the history of the motorcycle because no one has done one that takes in everything from the early pioneers to today's two-wheel and big engined computers that are blisteringly fast. (In the hands of someone with real skill even my 1200 will go zero to one twenty and back to zero in around eight seconds and it's not a high-performance machine!)

I've said it before and I will say it again, we don't need the 3 going around the world or drifting cars around a track, what we love is them just being together and having a chat, let's face it either way they have chemistry and it's entertaining, I would love to see all 3 sitting down together maybe at each others places and pubs ect on a boat doesn't really matter, I did like the studio with an audience so maybe include a few "live" shows schedule it like top gear but instead of just 10-15 mins of them talking it is an hour show they could record them at there own pace but release say 13 episodes mainly based on motoring but culture travelling with a bit of there own story's nothing majorly political apart from motoring relayed and the odd jibe at what's going on, they could easily do that maybe even 2 series a year with maybe a few episodes with just 2 of them and a guest of there choice, I would watch it, could just be KZbin based or if Amazon where for it hour long conversation street 😂 it would be great

A little bit of research Clarkson was born in 1960 so he is 64. Hammond was born 1969 so he is 54 and May was born in 1963 so he is 61.

Very good... was riffing at that point

Mmm, several inconsistencies in your piece, they got paid loads of money for the Amazon prime grand tour gig, Richard Hammond has his car restoration business and TV show the smallest cog which you neglected to mention. To say they are getting a massive payout is peanuts compared to what they got for the grand tour, so in your own words, stop riffing and put actual facts together?

Money talks. Someone will offer to open the vault to get the Holy Trio to do something together again. Either way, the memories of their antics will live on forever.

Clarkson is a one-off, I like Captain Slow and Hamster but the truth is they'd wouldn't be where they are if they hadn't teamed up with Jezzer.

They all admit, Top Gear was the result of a team, good screenwriters, producers and production managers who largely remained the same (unheard of in TV & film) - and, as with any effort, it is teamwork that creates great things. Underneath it all is the 40+ y.o. (from Repton School) relationship between Clarkson & Wilman. Watch Ben Collins' recent podcasts to get a feel of how things operated behind the scenes - they're excellent, particularly his two-parter with Andy Wilman (who'd ever have thought they got on so well?).

Well I think part of the comedy that ends up playing out when they're on the road is simply fit The writers and producers come up with things and Clarkson on the spot will either outright break the damn rule and figure out a funny way to justify it or he'll at least bend the rule and do the same and then the other is over time have gotten a little more daring about doing that That's part of the joke. So the next set of presenters did come in they're going to have to find a way to do that without looking as if they're copying them and to be honest I don't think anybody would really want to copy them because it would just ruin their reputation.

@@American-Motors-Corporation Clarkson was heavily involved in the writing. He is a writer by trade.. But again - you seem to have missed what happened after 2015.

@@wessexdruid7598 lol like duh he's one of the writers but he's not the only one. Nope didn't miss anything you're rabbiting on about whatever you're on about. I left the things out that we all know so there captain obvious your big call out is nothing.

Worth every penny…. They will however pay 20% ”entrepreneur tax” on that and fair play. Getting out before Labour kill off that “loop hole” too….
