I don't think these protests are for joining India, instead these are for the current economic situation in Pakistan. I have met many POK citizens and they seem to concur that POK will not join India. Fun fact: They call POK as azaad Kashmir. I think it is a lost cause to turn Pok people to our side. But we can build good relations in the future... maybe.
