I watched a video from "reporting from ukraine", no reports of gains/losses in their recent video. The "Reporting from Ukraine" channel spent more time discussing the North Koreans in Russia (mind you, they are training before allegedly being sent to the frontlines) then actually reporting on the Frontline. IT makes me wonder how a channel that popular will respond to the fall of Chasiv Yar. Probably will continue to use photoshopped images of (ret.)General Zaluzhny while over exaggerating Russian casualties and not reporting any AFU casualties.

It's the same on Polish KZbin, where fake and previously unknown people pretend to be experts on war and convince Poles that Ukrainians fight bravely, that they have high morale, they say that Russians have several times more soldiers on the front, they tell us about some "cosmic" Russian losses and say nothing about Ukrainian losses. They also say that Ukraine won the war because Russia did not conquer all of Ukraine. There is a well-known general in Poland who said that "so what if the Russians captured Bakhmut, Avdiivka and maybe they will capture Pokrovsk now?" He says that it will do no good to the Russians.

But for nuclear weaponry, the parties have reached the top of the escalatory ladder. There is no weapon that can change any game in the last two minutes of the game. (1), Western boots on the ground are a political impossibility; (2), Israel, then China, are the priorities on the US scarce-resourced agenda; (3) Europe is receding into right-wing populist, hence pacifist, tendencies, with the EU consequently sinking into irrelevance and its members descending into political bedlam; and (4), with all this in the context of a German, and indeed, general economic recession, spells the inevitable doom of Zelinsky and his ethno-supremacist captors. Exiled politician Arestovych has voiced the obviously only realistic remedy for Ukraine's woes if it hopes to survive as a viable, independent political entity with an intact economy: what he calls a "re-boot" of the country politically, or what we call an overthrow of its government and a political revolution. A counter-Maidan Revolution is in the making and as Russia takes Odessa and Kharkov, -for anything less may prove to be Putin's political impossibility yet some or all returned by way of ultimate compromise, -so too will anti-Zelinsky factions in the military begin to mobilize and Stauffenberg-like characters will inevitably emerge. Because Zelinsky finds himself in between the rock of a gun at his back from his racist nationalist sponsors, -whose power is waning in preventing all compromise, -and the hard place of Russian military superiority and its inexorable march west, we are left with simply counting the months, nay the weeks, before we will be reading his beatified obituary with private pleasure, and a revived Treaty of Versailles-type conference establishing a new general European security regiment, -long-requested by the Russians, -to finally follow shortly thereafter. Our sighs of relief will too be followed shortly by sighs of frustration as militant America seeks retribution elsewhere. Good Morning, Taipei!

Even the mighty Western air defense systems are being slowly torn appart. What this war tell me is that we actually need new defense contractors. We are in trouble if we get in a large scale war against a power with the toys we have right now. Sure, they are great in the initial phase, but they are built to perform in ideal situations, which is not what you get in a war. We need weapons that still do the job when shit hit the fan.

I think Ukraine is just faking it but the Russians seems to not be willing to risk any of their soldiers. Ukraine have no soldiers anymore but they say we deployed 4 brigades here to stabilize the front which one would think it is 12k-15k but in fact it is just 2k. They use 1k of it as spearhead to carry out a counteroffensive and the Russians spend quite sometime redoing the battlefield analysis and collecting information. This was done several times but it is very clear in Selydove.

Russians went in hard and fast towards Kiev because if the capital city falls, the entire country falls. Whilst true, it was a diversion to pull Ukrainian troops away from the Donbass who would have left to secure their capital. The Russians also went into other regions to extend the front line which they then strategically retreated to draw Ukrainian forces into an even larger front. Once that was complete, the real work could begin: clearing eight years of networks of fortifications and strongholds in the Donbass. Ukraine had a handful of PR victories whilst Russia slowly worked their way into breaking through the Donbass lines. Mariupol was the first to fall. And now they are at the doorstep of Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, and Pokrovsk... key cities in which Ukraine's entire Donbass operations stemmed from. Once the Sloviansk-Kostiantynivka front line collapses, there are no such fortifications and strongholds left to stop the Russians from beginning an offensive against Dnipro.

First time I had a video titled something along "Ukrainian collapse" was December 3rd 2023 and it was based on quotes from Ukrainian soldiers. This was 10 months ago and I never claimed it had collapsed or was collapsing but a collapse was on the way. In conclusion you didn't thin when you wrote this comment that is factually incorrect.
@odinsrensen74602 күн бұрын
@@WeebUnionWU Sure, but a collapse has been on the way for what seems a long time now, several months or somesuch. And it may be true, but it's all relative and even though Ukraine may be losing ground constantly the losses/gains are so small compared to the whole theater of conflict that it's hardly enough to notice until you watch videos like yours that point them out. For argument's sake, how long would you estimate this war will drag out at this rate? If we assumed that there were no changes in NATO over the course of the war.
@123shono2 күн бұрын

@yoooyoyooo2 күн бұрын
@@WeebUnionWUI would suggest you put a number of sq kilometers that is different from last time you made, a video. I'm sure theres a way to calculate that on maps. You don't need to mention what is or is not a collapse, because quite frankly nobody knows. it's not that simple. also a montly recap with numbers would be great for people that don't want to follow day to day stuff

@gigie5552 күн бұрын
Where have you been? For months Russia has been making slow but steady gains. Where you expecting advances like in WWII? It's a war of attrition which dictates the attacking force not overextending itself in order to keep casualties low. So far Russia has 5-7 to 1 ratio in it's favor. That's called winning.

Please quit using the click-bait titles, like "UKRAINIAN COLLAPSE". Ukraine has not collapsed. Russia is continuing their advance slow and steady as they have since late last year, and Ukraine continues to slowly retreat in many areas all along the front, but it is NOT a collapse. If Ukraine had collapsed as many times as your thumbnails have suggested they have, Russia would have reached the Polish border by now.
@Fatmanrolling382 күн бұрын
A collapse doesn't have to mean a collapse across the entire front. Lots of positions have collapsed on the local level, including the very significant bridgehead that's just been built over the canal at Chasiv Yar. His titles may be a little click-baitey, but if the Ukrainian forces were made to pull back on a significant scale, like they did in eastern Chasiv Yar, then that could be called a collapse, albeit a local one.
