I’ve thought about the last part and I think the ultimate strength is referring to darkshine. My reason being that there’s NOOOOO way in hell they are gonna add then ENTIRE monster association in season 3 it’s simply too big to don’t everything and also the saitama vs cosmic garou fight. I think they will somewhat drag out the episodes in season 3 similar to season 2 and it will end with the garou vs darkshine fight ending with darkshine having his ego shattered and Garous true monster transformation will begin

The reason why people hate season 2 is because the animation of season 2 was know we're near the level of season 1 like if you compare Saitama vs boros and garou vs all the heroes the Saitama fight was so much better

Garou vs the eight heroes was/is one of my favorite fights and the butchered it. I was so still and didn't flow. The mang though was great.

Well OPM Season 1 was kind of a once in a decade production miracle, the director of season 1 called in lots of favors and used his connections to get industry powerhouses and good up-and-comers to animate it (most of whom are now either major animators or directors themselves), so in essence, most of OPM season 1 was largely due to the part of insane contract animators. Season 2 was a whole new studio, whole new director, so they didn't have the insanely blockbuster animator talent to the extent of season 1, and their production schedule also was not good. Of course, season 1's production schedule wasn't the best either, but similar to Jujutsu Kaisen (but not to Jujutsu Kaisen's extent) the animators were so good in season 1 that they could power through bad scheduling. Season 2 was nowhere near the level of quality of season 1 because whereas season 1 had the equivalent of Olympic gold medalists working on the show, season 2 likely had something akin to good college level athletes I would say. Still good in terms of anime as a whole, but people were comparing season 2 to the product of season 1's absolutely insane talent. An unfair comparison, but an understandable one. Although maybe the directors could have outsourced better? who knows. As for release date, it is definitely not coming this year. I would say mid to late 2025 AT THE EARLIEST, and even then, I doubt. We may see some good talent this season, as a lot of talent left MAPPA on bad terms due to Jujutsu Kaisen's borderline slave labor scheduling, so maybe they will go back to somehwere or a series they are more familiar or maybe even fond with? That's just pure, hopeful speculation, but I believe JC Staff has the ability to do this season justice. All they need is time, and a proper pulling of the animation industry's network to get some excellent contract animators on board for big scenes, but I won't lie...even if they do everything right production wise, they have A LOT of work ahead to be able to come up to a fraction of living up to Murata's Panels for the manga, which I wouldn't ever put that expectation on anyone, no matter the talent. But still. I believe they can do a good job, we'll just have to see when it comes out in likely a year and a half from now.

The clean part about the animation is its purely handwritten not cgi, and the they make movement frames a lot just by character moving, while in S2 the frames are few the blow hit enemy in a single frames
