Windy City-Oh, me too! When you play the 'what I would do if I won the lottery' game, my answer is always 'Start a foundation'! My kids asked me how much money I would give them if I won the 800 Million Powerball a few years back-they were in their 20's. I said I'd buy them a car, a house (within reason) and give them 5 million to start and run a charity each. As a nanny myself, it makes me even more emotional. I have worked for one family for seven years, taken care of their two sick boys (one with Aspergers and one with Cystic Fabriosis), I gave them my heart, my time, my soul even and then they treated my like an old rag they don't need anymore. I just wanted to apologize for them. I have COPD and Severe Chronic Asthma. My lungs are at 48%. I can live a mostly normal life, but we pay for a housekeeper to come in and clean for us. Those type of people are literally the sweetest

I need a friend who will pay for me to have a few thousand dollars dress. I love this show but they act like a dress that is 1000 dollars or less is trash. My mom’s wedding dress was absolutely beautiful and she spent 800 on it. This was in 1997 though so it would probably cost more now but I feel like the price doesn’t make the dress your dream dress but the way you feel in the dress. I want to feel like a princess. I want to not be able to wipe the smile off of my face.

well this IS a high end store that does not stock dresses under 1500. That's just asking for them to look down on your intellect. You don't go into Jimmy Choo and ask for shoes under $25. Plus without the big budgets nobody would watch the show, and lower priced dresses have more general, less creative designs which make for a less interesting show too.

kirara x I agree with you, also it's not just some friend splurging and showing off her wealth, Jenni is the bride's boss and has the financial means to help make her dream wedding come true as a show of genuine gratitude for her selfless help as a good nanny for years. She didn't just do materialistic crap although flying in and accommodating that many people WOULD be as expensive as the dress no doubt...
