Robert: i used to work with a guy who is from Dade County, he was a retired Police Officer there but moved to the Philippines and put up an organization who offers free Cleft Lip and Palate surgeries to poor Filipino children and he has helped more than 3,000 children through his Foundation. Sadly he died from a motorcycle accident on his way to donate equipment to one of the hospitals here. His name was Laurence "Larry" Mally and like you, he was a kind heart that everybody loved and respect. God Bless you and your family and more power to your channel!

I'm pushing 50 years young now. I remember the most ridiculous meal that my 2 brothers and I loved. Canned potatoes, cut up hot dogs with cream corn. Long story short, mom never made it that way... But we all mixed it together when it was on our plates. Mom saved dishes, we were ecstatic, and it turned into a 1 pot meal. No substitutions - just like your mac and cheese. (We ate plenty of mac and cheese) thanks mom, God bless your soul in heaven 🥰

Bob, Never give up on introducing your kids to new foods ! We raised three and were often amazed adt stuff they didn't want six months' back they now devoured ! Kids taste buds ( and more importantly olfactory senses ) are in a constant state of development into their teens . Socializaton also plays a role as they age and seek to explore what those they admire enjoy . IAC, a great video ! Catching tarpon with Miami Beach as a backdrop is a winner !

Omg, they weren't fooled for a minute. Persevere, because the more they see daddy eating it, the more they will be intrigued. My 11 year old regularly eats lobster and oysters with me. It's been a struggle seeing as her mom hasn't got the taste, but worth it in the end. I'm loving seeing them grow up.

Keep trying. I have a daughter with ASD. Another with ADHD. And a son who can be picky. Over time, they all eat squid, shellfish, fish of every kind. And they also eat many dishes I’ve learned to prepare from around the world (from scratch) like Indian Korma, Japanese Ramen, Dominican Recito, and much more. Just keep offering it. Ha!!!! You tried to change macaroni and cheese, of all kids dishes. I've learned that with my kids, who were pretty adventurous with food were much less tolerant of my messing with their favorite staples like Mac and cheese. You're raising them right, I see the variety and quality that you guys feed your girls, you aren't raising your typical American kids that only eat Mac and cheese, chicken nuggets and pop tarts. From a dad with two daughters who are 15 and 20, far past those adorable wide-eyed years, they're adorable and enjoy every precious moment of this, because they only get older from here. For a dad with girls, when they're age 2 - 10 might just be the best dad moments there are.

Many moons ago we were at a oriental buffet. I loaded up on fried shrimp. We also introduced our kids to different foods so I presented a shrimp to my daughter. She ate it, in fact ate a few (I didn't tell her what it was until she finished it). A week later at a different buffet I got more shrimp and again offered one to my daughter. Before she took it my wife commented "yuck, I hate shrimp!" That's all it took, my daughter said she didn't like them either, even though she ate them a week before. Oh well, all the more for me!

Hey Rob. Heres a challenge.., try catching tarpon on a hand reel. Oh when making mac and cheese, try adding some carnation evaporated milk in the mixture. Don't add too much, you want to add say maybe 1/3cup to 1/2 cup of the evaporated milk. Great video as always
