Massive Water Crossings Adventure Motorcycle | Pencil Lake Rd

Welcome back to another adventure with some massive water crossings while we ride our dual sport motorcycles.
Pencil Lake Rd is a known jeep route down a unmaintained forest access road and one route I had a failed attempt at due to large water crossings and riding solo.
Being later in the season and riding as a team we decide to take on the route. This being my riding partners 2nd crossing, first being on his Tenere 700 and now on the crf250 Rally.
We knew we would be getting into deep ruts and sketchy terrain but it was a beautiful day to push limits and enjoy the weather.
Both successfully getting through without any mistakes, falls, drops, or sunken stuck bikes, only 4 wet feet.
Always remember to live to ride another day.

Actually my KLR650 is just too heavy for such trails, looking to get a KLX 300 next year, in addition to the KLR. What bike do you ride? I can't figure it out...

@cac2244 the KLR would make it through with dirt tires for sure! I’m on the dr650 so very similar bike! This trail is a bit deep for a first time deep one but the bike could make it 👊👊

Nicely done. I've gone through there a couple of times over the past few years, also on a little crf. Sometimes the mud at the bottom of these crossings threatens to stop the bike in its tracks. You guys handled it well!

We had the bronco in there a few weeks ago its definitely got some serious water crossings. It took me a minute to figure it out you are going the opposite direction to what we did.
