@@ShameJar83 I was just being an unsufferable prick with that not caring about the niece thing -__- Of course i would feel BAD. But in the context of, do I have the right to unilaterally make decisions against another parents' will for their child? I have an extremely strong stance that it's none of your or my business. Besides situations of direct abuse, I do not believe that anyone has the right to decide what's best for someone else's child and then act unilaterally on that opinion (this second qualifier is important. You can decide what's best for them in your own mind, sure, as long as you don't act on it.) I feel to think otherwise is problematic... you think my stance is problematic. Okay. fair. To each their own. I'm sorry I'm not your cup of tea! But thanks for giving the podcast a chance and at least watching it all the way through :)

By no means do I believe a parent should be responsible for their kids forever. Like, that's just not realistic. If the kid always fall back on their parents, then what's going to happen when the parents die off first. 😂😂😂
@Haeppy11 ай бұрын
it was your fault as a parent to begin with to not have educated them properly, provided the proper emotional and mental support to grow into a healthy adult, instilled a healthy amount of ambition and work ethic to achieve financial independence, etc. Your development as a child and teenager almost ALWAYS determines what you'll be like as an adult. At least that's my opinion about this. You can be personally responsible, but ultimately you did not choose to come into the world. Your parents brought you here without consent, so they should be responsible for you til the day they die. YOUR job as an offspring, is to make sure that doesn't transpire and you end up returning the favor of good parenting. Does that sound like something you can agree with?

I really enjoyed this podcast, you both bounce off each other so well!! If I may just leave one small piece of feedback: the audio is a bit everywhere; the general voice is quite low and then, when you raise your voice, the volume skyrockets (ex. from 19:28 super quiet to 19:38 super loud). Not sure if it's the proximity of the microphone or not, but it would be so much easier to listen to if the highs and lows were less dramatic (especially for earphone users) 🫶

I am in such a dilemma right now and I have this urge to tell you guys about it even though nobody will probably read this :D I am here because of Edward, so it is the first time seeing and listening to Haeppy. I have mixed feelings towards him and they are so contradicting. On one hand I find his way of thinking and expressing really provocative?! I don´t know how to explain it but I feel weird about some things he said. It is this feeling you have when you meet a guy and he seems to be very full of himself and has a lot of red flags. On the other hand I just want to be the dominant woman on his side and let him be himself and help him with his trauma by proving to him that money and social status etc is NOT important to every woman. At the same time I know I am not attractive enough for him so yeah. Besides that. I really liked listening to the conversation! Thank you for your attention! Bye.

@@Haeppy I watched it and liked listening to your conversation - again :) But my first impression hasn´t changed. And I want to add it isn´t always about the "controversial" things you say.
