Thankyou! Your a godsend! I always ask my mother in law what is the name of this dish. Everyone looks at me like a freak when I tried to explain to them. Seen jok Guen !Is a dish I thought had disappeared from the Yumcha scene. It was a dish that apart from the Phoenix claws that made always see yumcha as a delightful experience. But 20 years ago that dish was served with some marinated ginger and garlic soy sauce .The stuffing looks the same . Back then The stuffing was mostly wood ear mushroom ,watercress, bamboo shoot ginger and some greens. Today I see that it is served in a sweet sauce that looks to be ginger based. This gem of a find and I have you to thank for that.
