Its no sulfur its brettanomyces, natural yeast. And a lot of wood because of the aging on barrels, your mouth needs to adapt to the flavour, you have to enjoy it relaxed, in the end you only want another one.. its refreshing in summer. Grtz from belgium

Similar this would be cantillion but those are kind of hard to find marriage parfait is a good one there’s a couple more kind of Belgian Lambic kind of brewery but they’re also a lot of United States-based ones to like jester king free will and the like.

I grabbed this at Stockertown Beverage in Stockertown, PA .... they aren't out all the time, but you'll come across these and Cantillon there from time to time.

I say it dreee faun-teen-nen What a brilliant brewery. To me, they set the pace for this style. I think most feel Cantillon set the pace, but I’ll take this one. I love the effervescent carb, but the beauty of the high carb is you can swirl that out of it if you prefer it lower. I’d much rather have it this way than some still vintage bottle of Hair of Dog beer.

I'm still team Cantillion, but that's not a knock against 3F, very close race. And I agree on the HotD beers .... I think bottled water has more carb than some HotD beers!

Belgian here: If you want to pronounce it correctly, phonetically, you'd be saying: "dree font-ainen". To be even more precise: you'd pronounce the "ai" in "ainen" like the "ai" in "again". 3F guy myself ;)

I haven’t had many gueuzes, but this one blew everything else I’ve tried out of the water. Girardin Black Label, Tilquin, and Boon Black Label didn’t hold a candle to this. Girardin was the closest, but that had a bit too much funk for me. (Then again, Girardin was my first gueuze, so maybe that’s why I felt that way.) If these weren’t $13 plus tax for a little 330ml, then I would drink these all the time.

It's a fantastic beer from a fantastic brewery ... that's 100 percent sure. Some breweries might skew a bitter better for me but not by much!
