Mastectomy and what to expect after surgery?

Yes I had a left side masectomy due to cancer in 2022. I decided to remove the other just today. My surgery was at 8am I was back home at 2pm. Thank you Jesus for strengthening me and covering me during the surgery!!!🙌🏽 He's a awesome God and there is nothing to hard. I dont understand how one cannot believe in him.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Are some nerves in the breast tissue cut off? Are those nerve cauterized?

I had a masectomy...numbness and hardness and tingling. I still feel my nipples although nothing is there. I cant wait for the uncomfortable drain tubes to be removed😅

I had a bilateral mastectomy 4 years ago. The area remains numb. What is a Softee Prosthesis? I never got one.

It is a soft shell in the shape of a breast that you put in the bra for shape. Usually it is given for the immediate period after suffering before you get a more firm prosthesis.
