Ha, funny... I've been using the Simply Piano app, learning for about 3 weeks and was playing "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi and thinking to myself "this is Zombie!". I think your channel here has a good balance of interesting tunes and accessible arrangements with options for beginners and slightly more advanced. Thanks!

Thanks for this lovely video. I have a question. When I Play this one a keyboard. Can I use chords on the left hand. Will it be the same?
@PianowithNate10 ай бұрын
Certainly you could play the chords on the left hand the same way, which would allow your right hand to play melody if you like. The problem is that if you play the chords too low on the piano (in the octave that I'm playing the single left hand notes here) they will sound a bit muddy, so you'll want to play them up higher even if using the left. Then of course, we would lose the power we get from the single low bass notes. These are the reasons why most people arrange it in the way I have here. But there are no rules, and I encourage you to experiment and play what works best and sounds best for you. Cheers!
@PianoMen-hw5cu10 ай бұрын
@@PianowithNate Thank you, but I guess you get this wrong 😁. What I was asking for is unsted using single notes on the left hand playing it as a chord. Sorry If I couldn't explain well .

Nate, I wonder if you could create a tutorial in Piano for Stranger by Secondhand Serenade. I will watch their concert here in PH on May 9, 2025 on Moshpit. Thanks to your help so far, I was able to learn Imagine by John Lennon and Let It Be by The Beatles. Thanks a lot!

Of course I am. They're better songs to choose from, and if you play the 4 chords in another key, there are even more recognizable songs.
@PianowithNate29 күн бұрын
Some of these have been changed to be in C. Key doesn't determine the identity of a song. Looking forward to your video and song selections!
