the last couple seasons in the Clone Wars had some of THE best story telling in all of star wars imo and I love how just from barriss turning we see ahsoka leave aswell which made anakin turn when she wasn't by his side, all part of palps brilliant plan 🔥🔥

For all their fear of the Dark Side, the Jedi sure never learnt how to actually prevent one of their own to fall to it. The signs were there, but they simply ignored it.

@@lisboah Yeah, I think it's a mixture of the Jedi's arrogance and the fact that they were too busy fighting a war on multiple fronts to pay attention to those having doubts about the order and the Republic (all part of Sidious' grand plan).

I like to think barriss survived in the chaos of order 66 and broke out of containment, would have been cool to see her in ahsoka but she'll likely return in animation if at all maybe bad batch s3

Despite what Barriss did to not only the Jedi but also Ahsoka, I think she's one of the best Jedi there is. Same goes for Pong Krell and Dooku. They all saw flaws in the Jedi Order but approached the situation far different from each other. Krell? He sought Power. He saw a new Order and wanted to be Part of it. If his plans turned out successfull however, he'd be just another pawn in Sidious chess game. Dooku? A fallen Jedi who saw the flaws way before anyone else but couldn't see that Sidious only needed him to disguise himself from actions. Remember that Dookus ultimate goal was to stop Sidious. And later Maul would try the same but nobody believed them both. Ironic... And then Barriss... For her young age she had great wisdom and I think could have become one of the best Jedi ever. Not skill, but her visions on the future and how the Jedi crossed paths with politics that they shouldn't be involved in. Peacekeepers. Ultimately, the Jedi broke her. I wonder what happened to her after her imprisonment.

Luminara has far greater training, skills, power, and experience than Ventress. Luminara only lost the duel because of the plot.

Ventress was trained by Dooku how to fight a Jedi; while Luminara never fought a dark sider in her life. If it was a Jedi from The Old Republic; Ventress would had lost big time

Ah Barriss, your TCW heel face turn is just so polarizing, especially for anyone who enjoyed your character in the Med Star books. honestly while I initially rolled by eyes at Barriss becoming a villain I feel like I would be far less critical of this twist if they did anything else with Barriss as a character, Barriss the disillusioned Jedi healer who went through the horrors of war even as far back as the first battle of Geonosis has so much potential to be one of the most compelling characters in the franchise, and they've done nothing with her. and it almost feels like they tease Barriss at every opprutnuity, they introduce a Mirilarian Inquisitor who used to be a Jedi and who fought Ahsoka in her second major appearance, they teased us with the idea that Luminara would be part of the Rebel crew only to reveal her corpse being used as bait for the Grand Inqusitor, they even tease Luminara again in season 7 of TCW as a way to further showcase to Ahsoka just how lost and disconnected the Jedi truly are after Barriss indirectly opened her eyes to it. I pray that Barriss shows up in the Ahsoka series because honestly that series feels like it's gonna be her last chance to be relevant in anything.

Would be cool to get Barris in a series sometime in the future. She's such an interesting character that never got much highlight in the films.

Barriss doesn't have a complete backstory from the Clone Wars. (She can't appear in Mandoverce because of that.) Filoni has mentioned that he has plans for Barriss. So, it's obvious to me that it could potentially involve Tales of the Jedi and maybe Bad Batch.

Barriss is about 18 at the start of the Clone Wars, a year younger than Anakin.
