This is such a pretty, feminine refresh, Nancy! Just beautiful! I felt for you rolling that ceiling... not an easy task!! I get so much inspiration from these videos and have done projects based on your demonstrations! You have such an inviting home, and I can just imagine how you enjoy being in your bedroom. Funny how you mentioned it staying light later... even my grown sons (and me too, of course) reminisce about feeling it was punishment to go to bed when it was still light, and now we're all smiling when we're in bed before the street lights go on!! Just this afternoon I was pacing around pleading with the Lord to help me find something precious that I had misplaced... like you I am in constant conversation with Him either thanking Him or asking His help and guidance. I did find what I was looking for... always consider these to be little miracles! I'm already looking forward to your next video! ❤

Hello, Dear Nancy, I have been away from social media for a while. My husband has started treatment for cancer and my children came to visit. It has been a hard but wonderful time. We are in the beginning stages of treatment and have been blessed with side effect mercies so far. He has had some but not devastating. It was a boost to have John James and his parents with us for a few weeks. Your bedroom looks lovely and so calming. Please continue to pray for my family as I do yours. Especially your nephew Jim. Your scripture was so meaningful to me. The Lord has certainly been helping me these past few months❣️🙏❤️

I am new to your channel and I must say that you really inspire me. I am 72 years old and my husband and I live in a 1986 doublewide that we have updated little by little since we first got it back in 1998. I have painted and then re-painted some rooms and I must say that I enjoy painting but have had to slow down due to some health issues but still do what I can. I have been contemplating painting our popcorn ceilings but am afraid I won't be able to handle that; but after watching you I just might give it a try. I love your decorating style and everything in your home is just lovely. Also I have many times prayed for the lord to help me when things have gone wrong during a renovation and he always shows me the path to go down.

The room is absolutely gorgeous ❤ And I’m not criticizing and I’m not an unkind person I just have to say it would drive me crazy to have paint on my carpet from painting the trim but it turned out great all the same. God bless you❤

Brenda, you do realize that the carpet was about to be torn out and replaced, right? I wasn't worried about getting paint on an old carpet that was about to be replaced. That's why I did all the ceiling painting, walls, doors, trim. . .everything before the carpet installer tore out the old carpet and replaced it. I would never intentionally get paint on a new carpet. ♥

Hi Angela! The lamps were thrifted. I bought the one on the left first, and painted the shade black. I found the other lamp sometime later, and did a makeover on it to match the other lamp. Thanks for asking! ♥
