I hate the game as much as I love this song. Considering this song is on my top 3 of all your 're-renders' of old classics (alongside E1M1 & Bloody Tears), you can guess how much I hate the game :D Mainly because I'm bad at it. The game is awesomely creepy, and I love its lore, but I just suck at it so much :( Thank you for putting it here :)

Oh god, I loved the music for SotB, but FUCK the US version of this game.

To be fair I played it on the Genesis/Mega Drive, but I think all of the American ports had the same problem; when the game was ported over, the company didn't think or care to compensate for the different refresh rates of TVs from the UK and the US. UK TVs had a refresh rate of 50 Hz, US had 60 Hz. This meant that the US versions of the game were wicked fast, way faster than they were intended to be compared to the original. Look up a Genesis playthrough of this game and you'll see what I mean.
